mobb_deep 917 Posted March 24, 2017 He's 100% correct. The water war is very real and a major factor in the instability in Syria and the middle east as a whole. I know it's hard for you to grasp, in your comfy life, with the protection of your keyboard, but for some parts of the world getting a clean glass of water is not as easy and turning a faucet on. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-38532338

Voltaire 4,558 Posted March 24, 2017 Both Strike and Mobb's links quote experts that say it was a factor. I imagine if you have a bunch of violence prone assbags who gradually over time see their source of water reduced and reduced, bad things will happen. Get some religious nut to blame the assbags over there for the loss of water and BOOM! Global warming would hit other communities too. Go to someplace with the same problem, a Christian, Hindu, Jewish, or B'Hai community are being slowly deprived of resources they've counted on for generations and see what happens there and how they deal with it. Things may not resolve well, but they resolve peacefully. It's only when you mix it with Islam that you get these results. When Arizona goes to war with Nevada, come back and talk to me about how water is responsible for these poor Syrians blowing each other up, I'll be more inclined to generate some sympathy then. RaiderHaters Revenge 3,579 Posted March 24, 2017 Wow, you just ignore facts, based on retard bias.Nope I just ignore al gore since the world was already supposed to end 3 years ago last time we listened to him Now lack of water may have lead to war and essentially brexit but to say man made climate change is just bullshit Deserts and drought has exist d before man and will exist long after Up next for al gore man made asteroids caused dinosaur extinction
jerryskids 5,198 Posted March 25, 2017 Wow, you just ignore facts, based on retard bias. From the original article: “Calling Syria a climate war, for instance, means ignoring longer-term historical tensions across the region, and lets the humans involved off the hook,” Dr. Nina von Uexkull and colleagues wrote in a 2016 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. “Our well-meaning celebrities and politicians would perhaps be surprised to hear that Uexkull and colleagues found the impact of drought on conflict was generally ‘limited,’” reads their study. But to assert that it is a fact that MMGW is the cause of the localized drought, and that the drought is the cause for the unrest there, is mindnumbingly dumb. It is a religion for you, no different than Scientology or other cults.

Big Guy 1,400 Posted March 25, 2017 If you dont realize the next world war will be fought over water, you're a simpleton Oh I see it coming, may not be the next war though. Everything is about the elite controlling the masses. Also, water is a finite resource.....there is no more or less now than there ever was, unless psychos are launching it into space. iam90sbaby 2,125 Posted March 25, 2017 If you dont realize the next world war will be fought over water, you're a simpleton Won't happen. Technology will solve this before it ever becomes a serious issue in the west. Probably before this decade is over.
RaiderHaters Revenge 3,579 Posted March 25, 2017 Won't happen. Technology will solve this before it ever becomes a serious issue in the west. Probably before this decade is over. San Diego already has, as a matter of fact, you hear about California droughts, and San Diego throws away more water daily than is used in the entire Los Angeles county. titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted March 25, 2017 It is partially responsible. Water shortage I mean. The population of the ME has grown beyond what the land can support. There is, and will be, a massive migration of people. Check out the plans the saudis have for their border defenses. It's crazy.
