wicked joe 0 Posted August 2, 2015 Here at FFToday I see them: Odell, Demaryius, Julio http://www.fftoday.com/rankings/playerproj.php?PosID=30 ESPN has them as Demaryius, Odell, Julio http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/tools/projections?slotCategoryId=4 FootballDocs has them as Demaryius, Julio, Odell http://www.footballdocs.com/fantasy-wide-receiver-rankings.html Looks like you can find any place to support your choice. Odell's Hammys worry me. Demaryius is stud, but I think Julio is being underrated in many places.
stonewall 647 Posted August 2, 2015 OBJ has the highest ceiling.....but perhaps the lowest floor, too.
Flgatorguy87 160 Posted August 2, 2015 OBJ has the highest ceiling.....but perhaps the lowest floor, too. Good point here. If I'm ranking them in order of pure upside OBJ is at the top. Demaryius would lead the category in highest FLOOR and Julio would be in the middle for both categories which is why I like the balance he gives of upside and consistency. I think all three are no doubt elite top tier WR1s.
weepaws 2,456 Posted August 3, 2015 Jones number one no question . Thomas number two . Beckham number three .
BobSanders_33 127 Posted August 3, 2015 I have my concerns with Jones because White is getting older and Douglas is gone. I like Dem but it gets risky as the winter and fantasy playoffs arrive and Manning's flutter balls fail in the wind and the wetness. I'll go ODB, Dem, Jones. BufordT 371 Posted August 3, 2015 I think "health" is a key factor here. D Thomas has played 16 games three years in a row. He's pretty much a lock for 1400/10+ Julio needs to find the end zone more consistently imo. A healthy ODB that plays 16 games could put up some scary numbers

wicked joe 0 Posted September 2, 2015 Well, when the time came to draft them, I had to sweat it out a little, but I pulled the trigger for Julio both chances I had. Julio in the Shanny system is too much of a monster. Bad D in Atlanta should force lots of throwing opportunities.

In this case i would have diversified a bit and taken odell in one and julio in another.
Criper 24 Posted September 2, 2015 I have them JJ, ODB, and DT, but if you ask me who are you more likely to get a full season out of, the answer is Thomas.
redsrback 30 Posted September 2, 2015 I would like to take Julio, Emanuel Sanders and Eli Manning. Thought I would put a spin on it.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted September 2, 2015 Personally have them ranked Jones, Thomas, Beckham. I think Julio is going to blow up this year. Roddy White is falling apart, Hankerson looks good but is unproven in that offense. No TE to speak of, questions at RB and a BAD defense.

seadog54 20 Posted September 4, 2015 1. ODB 2. JJ 3. DT ODB's upside is just too much to put him behind those two guys. I would say DT is the safest pick. But if you want to gamble and go big or go home, ODB is the man.

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 5, 2015 You're high if you ride the ODB hype train into drafting him over these two. Jones or Dez are strong bets as FF's best WR and Thomas is about as safe as picks get, regardless of where Manning's arm is at. ODB was eye popping in his 10 games last year but why put flash over proven commodities?
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 6, 2015 I have to go: Thomas Julio ODB Thomas over Julio because, as stated above, Thomas has score over 10 TDs in 3 consecutive seasons. Julio only scored 8 last year, 10 two years back, and I'll throw out his injury season in which he had 2. Here's an article on the Giants website that gives some possible reasons why ODB won't top his numbers from last year even though he expects to play a full season. Basically it states the presence of a healthy Cruz, Jennings, and the addition of Vereen will eat into his targets. I'm sure they could be wrong. http://www.giants.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Fact-or-Fiction-Odell-Beckham-Jrs-sophomore-season/f6ae1783-a104-43d9-b903-421f91fc376e

Cruz isn't even playing in week one for Pete's sake and is highly unlikely to be a factor at all this season. And when has Jennings ever stayed healthy??? Why do they put out this horrific propaganda? Then again this type of garbage helped me draft him in the 2nd round of my PPR league. I'm sure it's helped push down his price tag for others to acquire him as well. So I guess there's the positive side of it too.
