mike fisher, who is probably the best-informed cowboys writer out there, keeps talking abut dez being a "bad patient": a guy who hates going to the doctor, and tries to act like injuries don't affect him. fish tweeted that dez finally got around to taking the MRI this morning, which is why news has been so slow to come out.

The knee bend looked awful. It must have bothered him the next day but he drug his feet on the MRI. I'd say the best case is a BMarsh type knee sprain where he is able to play but is hard to trust. Worst case is some sort of partial MCL tear.

apparently, playing through the injury can aggravate the tibia fracture, so it isn't just a pain tolerance thing.
