Tyler Eifert qstns

Recommended Posts

When Eifert returns to 100% where would you rank him on a weekly basis? It depends on who CIN is playing, obviously. But, it seems like TE's are a dime a dozen right now after Gronk. Is Eifert head and shoulders above most of the middle of the pack TE's like Ebron, Pitta, Tamme etc.?

I would place Eifert in th third postion.

Behind Gronk and Olsen.

Eifert should be able to match his last season per game avg .

Top five.

Thats optimistic but also fair as the bar isnt set too high. Just be ready to accept a td or bust kind of guy as he wasnt really a yardage monster last year either.

Pitta is a good pick.

He finshed 6th last season and except for Olsen non of the other four are doing much this season.

He's going to be the second most targeted player on the Bengals when he returns.

I might even move him up into the second postion.

Also we are talking rest of the way obviously since Gronk is in the mix right? If so, Brate is a sleeper pick for top 5 as well.

I don't love how comfortable people are with Gronk disappearing for chunks of seasons. He is grand when he's available for a healthy person's amount of snaps but every time he falls on the ground, you're terrified until he gets up with without wincing, limping, or holding something.

Olsen is my call as best tight end for season-long. He's constantly available and he can have good games without tds because he's usually well-targeted. And there's basically no game-script that takes him out of the game.

Olsen

Gronk

Reed

Pitta

Walker

Barnidge

Kelce (Andy and Alex hold him back so badly)

Maybe Eifert goes right around here. 8. But he kinda needs tds a little more than the guys I have in front of him. And he is a king of being hurt and having shady statuses the next week so you need another option just in-case he comes up limpin in week 14.

With that, I like him more than Ebron, Tamme, old man Gates and Allen.

This is why I've sought out olsen 3 yrs in a row. So consistent and will win some weeks with 25+ pointers too. We'll worth a 4th rounder every yr.

Kyle Rudpolph is on fire to start the season. He's got to be in the mix somehow.

I know, I know, not the most reliable but he's going strong right now.

It's true polecatt, but I'm so scurred of sammy Biscuits getting hurt and tanking the whole offense that I can't bring myself to get involved with Rupolph. I see the targets, the adult catches and TDs. I see Norv Turner laughing like a cartoon villain in a booth. It IS happening but I'm scurred that it doesn't keep happening.

HE might the Barnidge of this season where half of us believe it and half of us don't and Kyle turns in a top 5 overall score. Maybe he'll jump ahead of all but the top 3.

I agree 100 per-cent about Kelce because I want some clue about what a player will do every week. But Olsen is in the same boat, 5 yards out and you might have Cam calling his own number the whole game running it in.

I'm rolling Jimmy G out. Why no love? Looked great last week. Missed a practice, so what? They all do.

Julius has a special power: he can get and stay hurt while being listed as day to day. Having him equals too much concern about injuries and needing a backup.

Eifert injured AGAIN? FOCKER!

:argue:

ESPN's Bob Holtzman reports Tyler Eifert's new injury is a back issue.
Details continue to leak out, but this is all we know at the moment. Eifert left the team facility Wednesday to go see a specialist and won't play Week 5. The injury isn't considered serious, but back problems always raise an eyebrow, especially for linemen and tight ends who bang bodies all day. Oct 5 - 3:58 PM

Tyler Eifert everybody. If you're gonna have him, you need two tight ends for the next time this happens.

Rudolph is the #3 TE in my league after 4 weeks. Only Reed & Olsen are higher.

With Norv at the helm, no clear #1 wr and peterson out, Bradford is looking his way.

Cinny desperately needs Eifert, when he comes back, he should be a top scoring TE.

Reed is Having another big year. Everyone seems to have forgotten him here I guess.

Don't get Eifertized or Gronk'd by an Eifert. Wait and see. Stash don't start...miss the first good one and then go from there.

Yep, rolling out Bennett this week & hopefully trading him or Eifert once they're both healthy.
