A couple of things:

 

1) Petraeus is odds on to replace him. I always thought he got kinda screwed. But, both Dems and Reps like the guy. The amazing thing is, Trump will apparently have to pardon him so he won't be subject to parole/probation limitations on travel. - Incredible.

 

2) The intelligence community hacked ENCRYPTED communications from Flynn to the Russians. That means CIA and NSA were involved. Not to keep banging this drum, but basically reaffirms that the intel community doesn't like - and more importantly - doesn't trust this administration. The evidence was apparently leaked weeks ago - and had to keep getting leaked until TrumpCo acted on it.

 

3) TrumpCo can't shake the continual and repeated links to Russia. This is just one more of those stories. Seems like where there's this much smoke, there's likely some kind of fire. I think the press will keep gnawing on this bone even after Flynn's gone.

 

4) Now that he's not shielded as a WH Cabinet member, I wouldn't be too surprised to see the FBI (or Congress) compel him to testify. - THAT could open up all kinds of questions.

 

Pretty wild chit for the first month. I can't wait to read the whole story on this when it's all put together.
