Randle leaves Cowboys after learning won't start....

Recommended Posts

Maybe Randle has Cmike on his fantasy team and is sick of obsticles keeping us from seeing what we really have. I appreciate his sacrifice.

As a Cowboys fan for my entire life this is just same ole same ole. After the 90s Super Bowls it's been 20years of disappointments.

No big deal anymore.

Too much scar tissue built up.

At this point what difference does it make lol? They are going down fast.

Cowboys are telling so many lies right now its pathetic. And what is worst there back to there old ways of going to go to contract talks with Greg Hardy. Think about it there calling greg hardy family and he hasn't even changed his undies ,kissed a baby, or had a drink with a team-mate. Maybe if they spent a few bucks for a second wide receiver and got rid of the ones that should be sitting at home they wouldn't be in the situation they are now. They have 1 obvious choice at this point and its to see if Randle has what it takes for next year, otherwise destroy his image and leave him go. I am starting to be ashamed of being a Cowboy fan and the Tom Landry days are to many to be supported with a new fan base.

Bryan Boaddus was on this a.m. - he is being told that this did not stem from Randle being demoted. Rather, this meltdown has something to do with a family issue - apparently something back home in Kansas.

And if the injury and him going AWOL wasn't enough for you guys...

Report: NFL likely to suspend Joseph Randle over February incident

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/29/report-nfl-likely-to-suspend-joseph-randle-over-february-incident/

And this is why I'm still holding onto CMike. He's just a DMC injury away now from being the man. If you added him when Randle, DMC and Dunbar were ahead of him, how do you not hold/add him now?

Does it matter? Plus the NFL is looking at a potential 1-2 games for his domestic abuse issue last year (that's right, Dallas, where all the "good" people go to play football).

I'm just waiting for Greg Hardy to get mad at the Cowboys facilities staff for having the towels hang in the locker room at an uneven level, lose it and stomp on Dez surgically repaired foot, punches Romo in the shoulder and runs outside only to be gunned down by Jay Ratliff who has returned home from being banished from Chicago. Jerry responds with "Well, of course, we love both Jay and Greg's leadership...and uh...we'd like to announce we've signed Rae Carruth to replace Dez for the rest of the season because we love the attitude and leadership he brings".

Link to ESPN article.

Randle met with NFL investigators this summer and within the past week, and the NFL determined that he violated the league's personal conduct policy, which will now carry consequences. In a best-case scenario, Randle will only be fined. But more likely, he'll be suspended, quite possibly for multiple games, for a February incident in Wichita, Kansas, where Randle was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police received a call about domestic violence with a weapon after an incident with Randle and the mother of his son. According to the police report, the mother of Randle's son said Randle broke a car window in an argument and threatened her with a gun with their son nearby. In April, the charges were dropped, but while he's legally in the clear, Randle faced sanctions from the NFL.

Looks like McFadden and Michael are the running backs to own in Dallas these days.

To me? No... But if you've paid attention at all I've wanted him gone long ago.... But I do think it's highly unfair to characterize him as a crying, pouty football player if in fact he is upset about something else.

They need to get a good look at Michael, so they can determine whether a front line RB is a future priority.

I backed off Chris Johnson in AZ because I didn't think he'd hold up. Dude has been changing minds quickly. But no way, no FOCKING way, McFragile follows suit.

Real pain is being in the stadium when Calvin Johnson goes for 200 yds and 3 TDs to knock your team out of the playoffs. Oh wait, but you knew of that.

That was the last game of the 2011 season and the only sniff Raider fans have had since 2002.

(At the job last summer)

Fellow co-worker: "I see the Raiders picked up Trent Richardson!"

Me: "Yep. At least he didn't cost us a #1 overall..."

Rest of shop: "Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha..."

Now that's pain.

Essentially both Mcfadden and Michael are the backs to own. McFadden is not getitng all the carries and we know from past history he barley makes it though 2 games without something. CMike and McFadden owners have to hold (especially McFadden owners as he is the starter) but expect Cmike to get 5+ carries and considering its the team that gave up on him , Like we always see when guys play these revenge games (see Torrey smith vs baltimore 3 weesk ago etc) they usually have big games. I could see CMike with 2 goal line TDs

Only problems I see with the revenge game idea is 1) it usually applies to starters/good players only (see Terrance West vs. Cleveland early in the season etc) and 2) Dallas has to actually get to the goal line for that to happen. But anything is possible and I've been wrong before. The scenario you suggested would be more likely if Romo were QB because then I could see the Dallas offense making enough red zone trips for that to occur.

lets keep the hype train rolling....come on McFragile get hurt so Cmike can get some carriers

I like the sound of that too :music_guitarred:

Its amazing how stupid some people are. Sounds like Randle would rather sell drugs or have a life of crime than be a starting RB in the NFL

Well, just dropped Randle outright. I needed a reason and he gave me one.

Thanks for the link.

Id have just let him go. You pull a stunt like that you can just keep walking if it were my team.

Your team, yes.. but this is America's Team.

*Phew* on good timing. I packaged Randle with Luck to get Lacy and Evans, right before all this news hit the fan.

Great news.

I have both McFadden and Michael on my team.

Pulled a gun on the mom with the kid present? How is that not domestic abuse?

What a jack ass.

True. But 'America's Team' should be the one with the most guns, right?

Well its a good thing overrated mcfadden is on the team. Who else could have gained 64 yards on 20 carries? What a game. No need to feature Cmike. The boys are losing just fine with the crap they are throwing out there at rb.

17 pts in ppr against a good defense that had zero fear of Dallas passing the ball. I'll take it

unlike the effeminized sections of the country, most texans don't cower in lip-quivering terror at the idea of guns. it's irresponsible people we don't like--sounds like randle is one of them.

he's lost the fans, the locker room, and the coaching staff through general knuckleheadedness, and hopefully the recent revelations will put an end to his time here.

Are you talking about that end of the mall where Maurice's and Chico are? Totally effeminized. Not like the giant-penised masculinity of a boots and saddle store.

Per Rotoworld:

Joseph Randle - RB - Free Agent

Suspended free agent RB Joseph Randle was arrested at a Kansas casino Tuesday night. He's facing several charges, including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, battery, and disorderly conduct. Randle was reportedly told to leave the casino because he was too drunk. On the way out, he spit on the floor and "went berserk" on the cops. Randle has a history of legal troubles and is still in custody on $25,000 bail.

Seriously, how does one go from the starter on one of America's most popular teams to your life circling the drain within a couple of months? Did Dallas have an inkling that he was this nutjob or did they throw him over the edge by cutting him?

Dallas knows the nut jobs they bring in are nut jobs. They just discard the nut jobs if they aren't performing. If Dez wasn't talented he'd be gone. He's a complete nut job. It's an insane asylum in Dallas.
