Yeah, this overnight arrest of Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion keeps looking worse and worse.

The report from the Starke (Fla.) Police Department is out, and it appears that Guion had more than just a little weed and a handgun on him last night.

Via Wes Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, police found 357 grams of marijuana (.787 pounds, or as some of my old college roommates tell me, a lot), a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and $190,028.81 in cash.

SB 49 was the most watched television show in the history of television. SB 49 was the 4th highest rated SB ever. In 2014 more people attended NFL games than ever before in their history.

I don't think the league is worried or crying over spilled milk.

What is it going to take for the NFL to ever lose it's popularity?

Either Armageddon or a Zombie Apocalypse.

Baseball is America's pasttime, but the NFL is America's obsession. The NFL is pretty much bullet-proof, and they know it. Even an empty suit like Roger Goodell can't screw it up. ESPN, Fox, and NBC are reluctant to be vigorously critical of them. They even forced the "Playmakers" series off the air.

We're drawn to the NFL, like moths to a flame. The excitement of the new season sets in, and then it's over like a blur leaving millions with Fantasy Football withdrawal syndrome.

Can't get rid of all the pot smokers...wouldn't be much of a league left.

Now...if Guion was dealing...thats an easy one.

Add Ahmad Bradshaw to the pot list.

In his case, it doesn't seem like a big deal (no pun intended)

Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw pleaded not guilty to a marijuana possession charge on Tuesday, reports the Associated Press.

Bradshaw was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop in Preble County, Ohio on Feb. 5. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.

Last month, the Ravens signed defensive back Victor Hampton, an undrafted free agent in 2014. He likely will be cut before he ever shows up for an offseason training session.

According to WSOC-TV, Hampton has been arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated in Charlotte. He reportedly was driving 100 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone on Interstate 77. Hampton’s blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.10 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Saints cornerback Brian Dixon was arrested early Sunday after an incident involving a moped.

...

According to the report, police officers saw Dixon “splitting lanes” and driving down the center of the road, eventually swerving and cutting off another vehicle.

The officers contend that Dixon became “belligerent” after he learned that he’d be getting a ticket, eventually saying “just give me my ticket so I can get the f–k out of here.”

According to the report, Dixon’s “imposing size, stature, and weight, as well as the defendant’s agitated state” resulted in an order to sit on a curb. (He’s listed as six feet and 195 pounds, which would nearly qualify me as having “imposing size, stature, and weight.”) Dixon refused, instead taking a step toward the officer.

An officer then began to place Dixon under arrest. He allegedly tensed his body and pulled away from the officer.

“Let me go,” Dixon allegedly said. “You’re just doing this because I’m a black man with dreads and I look like a criminal. I’m not a criminal.”

While being taken in custody, Dixon said, “I’m not a criminal. I give so much to this community. I’m an NFL player. Let me call my agent.”

Not added to the tally, as he's out of the league, but Kwame Harris arrested for DUI, and trying to bite a cop.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/07/ex-nfl-player-kwame-harris-arrested-for-dui-trying-to-bite-a-cop/

Former 49ers and Raiders offensive tackle Kwame Harris has been arrested and accused of driving under the influence and trying to bite a police officer.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that police say Harris was involved in two hit-and-run crashes while under the influence of drugs, and that he eventually fell asleep in a running vehicle and tried to bite the hand of a responding officer.

Police say someone flagged them down around 7:30 p.m. and told them that a man who was parked halfway in a driveway appeared to need assistance. When police got to the scene they found Harris and attempted to handcuff him, and he responded by trying to bite one of the officers.

Another ex-NFLer:

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/former-nfl-veteran-accused-running-ponzi-scheme-161209364--nfl.html

A former NFL veteran has been charged with running a Ponzi scheme that allegedly enticed investors to back loans for professional athletes, federal securities regulators said Tuesday.

Will D. Allen, 36, who played with the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots before retiring in 2013, is accused of raising more than $31 million from investors.

Allen and business partner Susan Daub claimed to make loans to professional athletes who needed money, the Securities and Exchange Commission alleged in a complaint.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/27/ray-mcdonald-is-arrested-yet-again/

If the Bears hadn’t already cut defensive lineman Ray McDonald, they’d be doing so tonight.

According to Katie Nelson of the San Jose Mercury News, McDonald was arrested Wednesday by Santa Clara, California police. McDonald allegedly violated a restraining order.

The restraining order, issued after McDonald’s Monday arrest, required him to stay away from the residence of his ex-fiancée.While his past incidents allow for a certain degree of gray area regarding the things that did and didn’t happen, it’ll be much harder for McDonald to claim innocence if he violated the fairly bright line of returning to premises from which he was ordered to stay away.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/jets-de-sheldon-richardson-busted-driving-143-mph--resisting-arrest-230217280.html

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch said Richardson was clocked at that speed in his 2014 Bentley Silver Spur, then "increased his speed, drove off the highway, and sped through a traffic light to try to get away" when officers tried to stop his car. There was a 12-year-old in the car, and two other adults, the report said. Richardson eventually complied with officers' demands to get out of the vehicle and he was arrested.

The Post-Dispatch said Richardson was charged with resisting arrest, exceeding the speed limit, following too closely, failing to use lights and failing to obey a traffic signal. Richardson is from St. Louis, and the incident happened in that area.

The probable cause report on the Post-Dispatch's web site revealed a few more details. It said Richardson appeared to reach for something between his feet as he was told to stop. The report said a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun was recovered from underneath the driver's side floor mat. The report also the said the officer reported smelling the strong odor of burned marijuana coming from the vehicle.
