wiffleball 4,631 Posted November 13, 2017 Anybody watch this weekend? So they had this large loud black woman as the guest host. Apparently trying to B historic, first black woman comedian allegedly to host the show. They already have Leslie Jones, they needed another large screaming loud black woman like they needed one more geeky Jewish guy. Most of the skits were pretty awful. I mean, don't even crack a grin kind of awful. The only thing that consistently delivers to one degree or another is Weekend Update. Last week with Larry David was pretty awful too. I think they might have had one skit that made me laugh but the monologue was just a train wreck. And the show was pretty universally panned. Even Kate McKinnon's Jeff sessions needs to be retired. It just comes across as snarky New Yorkers bagging on Southerners. They seem to be bringing her out because she's the only consistent performer in The Troupe. But you can only take so much of her too.
Bert 1,087 Posted November 13, 2017 SNL and 60 minutes became unwatchable around 2005.

Had no idea who the host was, when she came on stage she said 4 words and I skipped to weekend update. Weekend update, 1st 4 jokes were Trump related. how original. I did watch the Lavar Ball thing, that was pretty funny. I watched more of Taylor Swift than the rest of the episode.
