In American political discourse, states' rights are political powers held for the state governments rather than the federal government according to the United States Constitution, reflecting especially the enumerated powers of Congress and the Tenth Amendment. TimmySmith 2,782 Posted May 15, 2018 Like lottery, gambling is a tax for stupid people Sports gambling is worse than casinos IMO. In casino you can gamble, control what you do, and have a good time. Sports gambling is for degenerates only, always looking for an edge and always chasing. The only way to sports gamble and win is find the biggest loser degenerate gambler you know, and do the opposite of what he does.

vuduchile 1,941 Posted May 15, 2018 Years ago, I had friends who got in pretty deep with the bookies. They literally had some sort of action every single day. They were betting on reg season NBA and MLB games. Teams they knew nothing about. When NCAA and NFL season rolled around, they were sure to win all their money back and then some. You can probably guess how well that went for them. Both came from wealthy families so they had their dads bail them out. These dumbasses were in their 30s at the time. I should have said, for me personally. There is no fun in doing it, if there is nothing on the line. and I am not betting 5k on a game. it was more fun when $50 meant something to me, like not eating

My in laws were in town the other night and they always want to go to the casino to play slots. Idiots. Anyway. I just go to the black jack tables when that happens. I was playing $25 jack and was pretty bored most of the time. I finally walked out with $850.00. BFD. The following day I bought a GoPro, accessories and some groceries. That $850 vanished like it was never there.

crackattack 513 Posted May 15, 2018 Greatest scam going. People that continue to play that are at the apex of stupid. I get trying it (I did) I saw it for what it was. I've won over 4 grand on FD now. Cashed out 5 different times. I've won a contest in basketball with a runner up, and won 2 in baseball and another top 3. Now, I know you might not believe me, and that's fine, but I've done fairly well. I only play the small 1$ and 2$ single entry games. Mostly. I enjoy it. crackattack 513 Posted May 15, 2018 I saw one lady in NH win 600 million last year. That mean the lottery isn't a scam and a poor people tax? Do poor people not understand the risks/odds? These are adults responsible for their own actions. If they "choose" to play, then they contribute to the taxes involved or the "rake" involved. These aren't hidden secrets. Djgb13 2,338 Posted May 15, 2018 Jesus Christ Ed seems like you had a dam gambling problem. Its not fun unless you wont be able to eat if you lose? Dam thats some focked up logic. Its fun to gamble a little money on a game to make it interesting. $50 on a game like the super bowl is fun. I supposed you dont play the squares for the super bowl? jerryskids 5,188 Posted May 15, 2018 States that want it already have everything in place. States that don't will make laws forbidding it or drag feet. IMO, On-line sites are still banned, this was strictly about States rights for sports gambling. Arizona is one of a handful of states that doesn't allow DFS. We also have a lot of casinos. Those two are not a coincidence. Anyway, I see the casinos offering it exclusively here. I also don't think it will significantly impact the overall amount of money being bet, rather it will just move it. In other words, those who want to gamble sports are already doing it. jerryskids 5,188 Posted May 15, 2018 Also, it will be interesting to see how odds are handled for cities with pro sports. Will the odds of the Cardinals winning the SB be the same in AZ as in, I dunno, Boston? One would expect the impact of local betting to lower the odds. patweisers44 697 Posted May 15, 2018 patweisers, what are you betting this week? betting on sports is really only fun if you're poor and have something on the line. You calling me poor? This week I will bet on the usual stuff, Fanduel golf, some baseball, maybe a basketball or hockey single game FD contest if I plan on watching. Up about $200 this year on golf. Down about $600 on all other sports together. Did ok on NFL last year, small plus numbers, but that includes a league with a group of friends as well that I did pretty well in. All things considered, you might be on to something though.
