3B Moustakas

OF Cain

OF Gordon

OF Bautista

Util Soler

SPs Cueto, Duffy, Hammel, Shields, Finnegan, I Kennedy, N Karns, Vargas

RPs Herrera, Madson, Holland, Soria, Strahm

Not much depth with position players, but have backups who would start as exclusives at just about all positions if the KC starter goes down.

I think I kind of like this team. No real standout stud to lead the rotation but I feel like some of the guys I drafted have chance for some bounce back years (Holland, Soria, Shields or maybe Vargas)

Really have flexibility with the supp in terms of how I improve this team

..C - Vogt

1B - Myers

2B - Forsythe

SS - Miller

3B - Longoria

OF - Kiermaier

OF - Souza Jr.

OF - Dickerson

UT - Pearce

Bench - Joyce, Duffy, M. Smith, W. Ramos.... plus a handful of exclusives that won't get drafted that would easily fill in for any Rays that go down (4 off the top of my head)

SP - Archer, Cobb, Odorizzi, Moore, Smyly, Hellickson, Snell (there may be another exclusive)

RP - Davis, Colome, Rodney, Benoit, Boxberger, Cedeno (there may be another 2 exclusives)

This team..... looks like donkey crap. When you miss a stud SP and willingly pass on a sexier position player for a closer, that's probably going to be the result. I ended up drafting a lot of the same players I drafted or owned last year (Forsythe, Odorizzi, Rodney, Benoit). Completely lacking any real star power but extremely deep with a lot of multi position guys that will allow me to go in almost any direction in the supplemental..... except closer. I can promise you there will be no 4th closer

UT - Ellsbury

Bench - Holt, Valencia, Moreland, Shaw

SP - Lester, Sale, Porcello, Wright, Pomeranz, Rodriguez and Buccholz (One of the Wright, Pomeranz or Rodirguez group will become a RP before the season starts)

RP - Melancon, Thornberg, Kelly, Zeigler, Tazawa, and Bailey

Pretty happy with my draft overall. I have a few more exclusives available for Bench Depth and RP if needed. Offensively, I'm a little weak at C and 3B (depending how The Panda plays anyway) right now. I'm excited about my pitching staff though, no big complaints there, well other than having to draft Buchholz as my 6th or 7th starter. Might be looking to trade for one more SP to help fill that list out a little more though.

I certainly will have my targets in the supplemental. I have at least 2 if not 3 more exclusives that I'll probably end up putting in the draft but I'll have to wait and see how the final few rounds for me go. I'll have a glut of SPs available for trade. I do like having 2 starting catchers (depending which way the Indians go with Perez/Gomes) but I don't feel I really missed on much at that point for making that pick if he does. My depth is not what it has been in years past at this point but we'll see how I can improve before the season starts.
