Will the Patriots Cheat in the Superbowl?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if the Pats had a plan to cheat in the Superbowl, would they be brazen enough to still go with it even after getting caught in the AFC championship game? Would they send a "reporter" to the Seahawks practices to record it under false pre-tense? Anything that would give them an advantage, I believe they would do it.

Sad to see all the cheating that has followed this team . Can't belive that they won any of the other Super Bowls now without cheating . Tough because if you are a fan of the Pats is something that you will always hear about . Since they have not won a Super Bowl when they where first cheating that in its self says a lot . To bad for Pats fans sorry will will never have that true title to brag about .

This... i believe in upsets, but there was no feasible way they shut down the rams high-powered offense the way they did (without knowing the first 25 plays run)

It is an issue and its really too bad because they did have and do have a lot of great players on these teams whom are now forever tied to the BS.

The other thing is that they probably could have still won some or even all of these games without screwing around but it WILL forever follow them. Its like your IRS or arrest records - wherever you go, they go. Oh well. They should have thought about all of this before they did it.

This is 100% correct. The entire NFL gets mowed down all year and they just happen to figure it out although they never played them before? Bull effing shiat.

It'd be the same thing if a team suddenly dropped 50 points on the Ravens defense of 2000 or the 1985 Bears. You'd be wondering then too.

I know you're a troll and everything, but I guess we're just flat out lying about this ###### now? They played earlier that season and it was a 7 point game.

Also, I guess we can assume the 2007 Giants cheated as well, with how they shut down the Pats record setting offense?

what a bunch of nonsense. They were held to 15 points in a game that year, under 25 5 times.

Bitter retarded fools.

If your point is that no team is clean, I agree

Hypocrisy, Worms - as well as an unusually large helping of "claiming everyone does it, so our transgressions are de-emphasized".

It's funny that you try to disparage another team for PEDs when NE picked up a PED abuser from that very team. Irony, yes?

Is it a coincidence that Tom Brady shows up to media day sick? He has been sick for 4-5 days, but the rest of the Seahawks will be sick this weekend. Whatever it takes!

they only cheat when they win, so if they win they obviously cheated, out playing, out coaching, out smarting, out scheming, out adjusting, out hitting out determinationing (thats right, I cheated I made that word up) and having more heart and pride are their most consistently used forms of cheating, I look forward to and hope to see all in their glorious fashion this Sunday.

Go Pats, cheat the fock on !!

God forbid they shut down a high powered offense like the rams. It's gotta be cheating in some way or another right? If they beat the Seahawks you bet someone will be on here saying they paid the grounds crew to make the grass too thick and long so Lynch and Wilson couldn't run too well in it

this is what's so great about it... the history books, "A Football Life", 30for30, Hall of Fame - the winners write the history books and the losers sit in the mud crying, "that's not how it was!".

Chris "Maddog" a new york radio guy was on Boston radio yesterday - he made a good case against the Patriots for Spygate, Deflate gate, Injury-report Gate, Illegal formations gate, etc, etc, etc... really the first "no agenda" believable guy I've heard against the Pats. But despite how much he mistrusts NE/Belichick/Kraft/Brady - he thinks it's all tiddlywinks and basically irrelevant - i.e. he thinks they did all the things, but doesn't really think it matters that much - it only matters b/c they've been so successful and are widely hated for their success, arrogance, smugness, perfection, "we're better than you" attitude.

A lot do. I certainly do and already said if I'm proven wrong I'll admit it. Yet there is little to no evidence suggesting they tampered with the balls after the inspection. Once there is definitive evidence of this I will gladly apologize. I suggest you do the same if you are proven wrong as well

Who are you to judge about integrity when you make comments "Hope so (that they will cheat)" or "anything it takes"?

That gene pool for the Pats fans needs some chlorine.

Man, if nothing else the majority of Patriot fans (you included) have proven OVER AND OVER again to dismiss any credible evidence as someone hating.

Example, the head coach has finally admitted to taping signals last week (in ref to Spygate). So by his admission and your statement of credible evidence, will you finally admit their previous record is at the very least, tainted?

Thought not..............

Not once have I ever defended spygate cause I know it was wrong.

Next up, is the credible evidence. Please tell me what that is? All that is known is the balls were slightly under inflated at half time. A locker room attendant took both sets of balls into the bathroom for 90 seconds after the inspection. That's all we know for a fact. There is a report the refs didn't check the psi in the balls before the game. But please show me clear cut evidence that the patriots cheated and I will gladly say you are right. Otherwise, it cannot be determined they cheated and yes I will say people are just hating on them.

Let's keep it real too; 2 psi is not slightly. And given that you know they cheated in Spygate, why is it such a great shock that they would cheat again? To admit the previous act was cheating is to admit their legacy is tainted.

If you think those balls deflated themselves, you're in denial or just plain ignorant. No offense intended.

If you think that attendant acted independently of Belichick (who we ALL know, bemoans EVERY detail of each game on both sides of the ball) and Brady, then again, you're in denial or just plain ignorant. Again, no offense intended.

There's two crucial pieces of evidence you don't have yet that you keep insisting is just fact when it's not. So keep up now.

First, do you know for 100% fact that the refs checked the psi in the footballs before the game? No

Second, do you know for 100% fact the locker room attendant took the psi out of the balls in the 90 seconds he was in the bathroom? No

The refs could have not checked the psi(which one report says) and the locker room attendant could have stopped at the bathroom to take a piss and wash his hands before he went to the field.

Circumstantial evidence does not hold up I'm sorry

To me taping hand signals it's that big of a deal. In baseball we are always tried to figure out the other teams signals so we could plan accordingly. But then again nfl said it's wrong so I'll go with them on that
