    Single digit Wonderlics

This shouldn't surprise anyone. You really think most these athletes from the rough parts of cities are taking college level courses. They are given scholarships to fill the seats on saturdays and bring revenue to the college not hit the books. They are probably taking below 101 classes which anyone that graduates highschool should be able to pass which is probably how they keep them on the field. Shows what our nation's colleges are really interested in. MONEY

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

I don't doubt other teams had a bounty system of their own. The difference with the Saints is that the NFL found out they possibly had a bounty program in 2009 and told the Saint's organization they were investigating it and even flew into New Orleans in 2010 to interview staff and players. Now knowing that they still put out bounties last year on Rodgers and Newton knowing full well they were obviously breaking the rules and the league was watching them. We all know defensive players go out and make big hits and sometimes the opposing player gets hurt in the process. I don't have a problem with injuries but when you deliberately go out of your way to do it that is just dirty play. I think the punishment fits arrogance of Payton and Loomis. They knew about it and did nothing for 3 years to stop it.

Josh McDaniels is a straw grasping jackass

McDaniels is an idiot. I remember him fist pumping like a drunk jersey shore teenager around the stadium after beating the Patriots in a REGULAR season game.

Tim Tebow traded to the Jets

Just when I thought we couldn't hear about Tebow anymore he is now in the New York media market. Great! Also anyone know if the Jets are doing Hard Knocks this year I would definately tune in.

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

The New Orleans Saints are fined $500,000. In addition, because the violation involves a competitive rule, the Saints will forfeit their selections in the second round of the 2012 and 2013 NFL drafts. » Saints Head Coach Sean Payton is suspended without pay for the 2012 NFL season, effective April 1. » Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis is suspended without pay for the first eight regular-season games of the 2012 season. » Former Saints (and current St. Louis Rams) defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is suspended indefinitely from the NFL, effective immediately. Commissioner Goodell will review Coach Williams' status at the conclusion of the 2012 season and consider whether to reinstate him, and, if so, on what terms. Commissioner Goodell said he will give close attention to the extent to which Coach Williams cooperates with the NFL in any further proceedings. » Saints assistant Head Coach Joe Vitt is suspended without pay for the first six regular-season games of the 2012 season. Source: Saint's bounty program With Sean Payton being suspended the whole season what is their chances they get into the playoffs now.

    Chicago traded for Brandon Marshall

Well the trade for Marshall pushed the availible cap space for the Bears from 23.5 million to 14.2 million. From reports it sounds like Buffalo is going to make a huge offer to Williams so i don't think the Bears are going to want to spend the remaining cap space on one player so they probably are out of the hunt for Williams. Sounds like they are going Jeremy Mincey instead.

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

I don't think a lot of people are questioning the brutality of the sport and that we all enjoy a good hard hitting football game. The problem here is cut and dry arrogance. Loomis was told to investigate the bounty program and didn't then when the owner found out about it told him to put a stop to it which he didn't. Also Payton knew about it according to the NFL documents released http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8276d243/article/evasiveness-of-saints-gm-coach-detailed-in-league-summary?module=HP11_headline_stack. Payton even knew personally about 10k in money for bounties and told his staff to "get your ducks in a row" when he found out the NFL investigation team was in New Orleans. Wouldn't be surprised to see a seven figure fine, multiple draft picks taken away, 8+ game suspensions against Payton and Loomis, with a lifetime ban on Greg Williams from the league. On top of all this reports of Brees not going to sign the franchise tag and probably losing Colston and Nicks and other key players to other teams. All this in the first month of the offseason

    Peyton Manning Interview

According to Adam Schefter Peyton will not ask for his bonus to be pushed back. Here is the story. My link Also here is another website that explores place he could play at if he becomes a free agent. My link It is also going to be tough for other teams to sign him if he is not guaranteed to be healthy in 2012 which he himself has said he doesn't know if he will be able to play in 2012 due to his health. If the Colts don't pay him I see him retiring that day or the next.

    Kyle Orton released by Denver

Orton could go to Chicago but it's not like he is going start throwing tons of TD's right away. He would probably take 2-3 weeks to get the system down (ex. Carson Palmer). I don't think the Bears can afford waiting 2-3 weeks for Orton to get their system down since they are essentially fighting for wildcard spot with GB riding high at 10-0. Also Cutler and Orton are two very different passers. Orton does not have the arm Cutler has so there would have be completely different plays for the whole offense to learn. It does make things very interesting. It also sounds like the Chiefs are exploring picking him up and have the cap room to do so. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/48817/will-kyle-orton-become-a-chief

    mcGahee or Jeremiah Johnson ?

    McGahee is starting play him.

    keller a stellar play

Don't like Keller. Although the Denver pass defense is bad they are the #4 best defense against TE's compared to the Giants who are #18 against defending TE's. Roll with Celek.

What FF site do you use

I use foxsports. Never had a problem so far with it but I play in a league with people I know.
