Start 2 QB league-Which 2 QB's to keep?

Standard scoring.

 

I have to keep 2 QB's (the rules are such that it is rarely to your advantage not to keep 2)

 

I have:

 

Andy Dalton

Ryan Tannehill

Tyrod Taylor.

 

If you have time, please let me know your rationale for your choice.

FYI: 12 teams in this league. and Yes, that means Not all teams have a backup QB who is a starter.

I just don't trust Taylor to be a good option week to week , so I'm picking Dalton and Tannehill.

Every now and again, he will put up a game of 150 yards, one TD with 50 rushing yards for a win where the RB's will have 100-200 yards on the ground.

 

Funny thing about that. on average, his stats are better when Buffalo loses than they are when Buffalo wins.

In the games he played in when they won he avg 8 rushes per game and scored 3 rushing tds total

 

In the games he played in that they lost he avg 6 rushes per game and scored 1 rushing td total .

Dalton definitely but I would also keep Tyrod. I think we know what we get with Tannehill and I think he's average at best. Tyrod has just started one season and will almost certainly improve. Plus I always like QBs who will get points rushing. It will lead to more consistent scoring IMO. Tyrod should be one of the best 2-3 rushing QBs in the league if not the best. His passing stats will probably be average. My only real concern with him is that he missed 4 games I believe it was last year.

If you think that both Parker and Landry will have good seasons than Tannehill would be the better pick .

Dalton and Tannehill for me. Tyrod has shown flashes, but he is a running QB and will get hurt frequently and we still don't know his talent level yet.

I noticed that with Buffalo the 1 year I was forced to start EJ Manuel. ( Don't ask)

I always contributed that to the garbage time TD. He'd have crappy fantasy numbers, then that last drive, the other team lets him go 80 yards for a TD, because they're in prevent D, and they don't care.

He adds 7-8 more points to his total, and now its at least respectable, and he didn't get you killed at the QB position.

Oh, and Dalton and Taylor. I just really don't like Tannenhill. And I think Taylor will improve AND he's playing for a contract. I love contract year players.
