Got any good stories from being arrested in your younger days? I know my dad got arrested when he was younger for street racing a lot. Personally, I haven't ever been arrested

I got arrested last summer for driving on suspended. Didn't know it was suspended. Oops.

 

But looking back on the countless times I drank underage, carried weed around, drove under the influence, vandalized sh!t, etc., I'm lucky it was only the once.

But looking back on the countless times I drank underage, carried weed around, drove under the influence, vandalized sh!t, etc., I'm lucky it was only the once.

Same story for me was like 20 yrs ago though. Never even knew my license was suspended. It was from a traffic ticket I paid the fine but for some reason the city it was issued had a mandate you still had to speak with a traffic judge even if just paying fine. Embarrassing as as I was at the police dept taking a background check for a new casino and had like 50 friends there watch me get taken into custody

 

7 days later due to being arrested on a Tuesday July 3 the courts were closed until the following Monday when I saw a judge he dismissed it and apologized and said that it was actually a dmv error and I should have never had a warrant

 

7 days in LA county jail twin towers for a dmv error. No reparations

I got a ticket for expired tags and no insurance. Paid the state. Paid the county. Apparently, the bumfock little town had a citation too, and I missed that one. Got my license reinstated from the automatic suspension with no insurance.

 

About a year later, I was driving from Nashville to Memphis to visit my parents. about halfway there, a state trooper passes me. I was doing seventy in the right lane, no problem.

 

Right when he gets even with me, he slows down, gets behind me, and lights me up. Had a license plate scanner.

 

I pointed out on his computer screen, and it clearly showed that I got the license reinstated a week after the suspension. He showed me that it was suspended again six months later. I said "ok, so when is my court date, I'll take care of it."

 

He says, "I'm sorry, if I had pulled you over five miles farther down, I'd just issue a citation, but in this county, I have to bring you in."

 

Spent two hours in bumfock jail. Bonded out, went to court. After I paid everything and got everything dismissed, I (extremely politely) pointed out to the judge that it is a very bad policy to arrest people for crap like that. He was not aware of that requirement and was not happy. Some cop got his ass chewed by a judge that day.

I was arrested my senior year in small town ga for making co2 cartridge black powder bombs......for fishing. They did not find it funny and cuffed me at lunch and led me out. they read me the riot at and I was 18 at the time so they could have really hammered me. This was maybe 2 or 3 years before columbine and the rash of mass shootings. I ended up cleaning the drunk tank for sat and sun for the month. Now they would have assumed i was going to do really bad shitt instead of trying to blow fish out of the water. Of course this was 20 plus years ago.

One time, we had a party in college. All of us except for two or three (one of which was my gf) went to the back bedroom to smoke weed.

 

Twenty people in a tiny bedroom with several joints going around. There was a knock on the bedroom door. I was leaning against it, so I moved, reached back and opened it, assuming a new arrival wanted to join.

 

It was a cop. In my apartment. Full uniform and everything. You could barely see across the room the haze was so thick. Damn near everyone there (me included) was underage. I was like "Oh fock, here we go."

 

He said "who lives here?" I said I did. He said, please step outside with me.

 

We went outside the apartment, and he said "Look, we got a noise complaint. I'm gonna give you a warning. Do not make me come back here again tonight."

 

"Yes, officer, thank you sir."

 

I went back in the house, and told everyone to get the fock out. Then I chewed my girlfriend's ass. Let a cop in? Voluntarily? And not even give us any warning? What the fock?!

the bail was set at 40,000 for some reason, and I was a gambler back then so didn't have the money to post, and didn't want to ask to borrow from my parents.

 

lucky for me my dad worked with the county of SD and knew the Sheriff, and pulled some strings. He had me on kitchen crew which was a 16 person staff, we had a dorm type room with a tv and a fusbol and pool table and a private restroom and phone.

When I was 17 I got arrested on the Friday before the 4th for going through an open window in a school to get some water after playing basketball outside. It should've been trespassing and criminal mischief, but the díckhole cop charged me (and my friend) with burglary because we tried to lie.

 

Fortunately for me they just called a judge and he set the bail over the phone.
