Based on what they were both saying a few weeks back........Tiger and Phil are looking to set this up in such a way that they are the owners of the production. They also implied there could be future events possible even with other players, yet Tiger and Phil own the production.

 

That made me think they will both make money off the event, advertising, etc. But then they'll play for $10M, which will likely be put up by a sponsor.

Dechambeau has 7 out of 20 tries

 

Tiger has 4 out of 12 tries.

 

Roughly the same % on contending. One of the 3 was workng himself back from what 1200th ranked in the world and in the gutter? One is a top 2 player ever.

 

I mean if you want to split hairs and go by stats then sure. But I think it is some of your Tiger hate coming out. Tiger has had a reasonable year even compared to guys who didnt take years off. If its close I lean perhaps the GOAT. Maybe im crazy.

Maybe not hate but I understand you and Cruz (among the golf guys) dont care for him. Just figure that has something to do with it.

 

Yeah the other 2 won a tourney. But also played more and were not in the middle of a brutal comeback.

 

I know mostly from KSB but Tiger always goes higher than those 2 in your drafts. I think going forward most would take tiger in any tourney over them 2 or at least on par with them. Obviously Tiger has had trouble finishing rounds and tourneys, but I feel he is still getting better. He has contended right along with most of these guys. We have time to see what he does here and in the PGA so I guess to be continued.
