Is JVax a Buy Low Candidate

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to trade for him, along with DCM and R-Tich.

 I found the post above funny.

To the OP, I was thinking about buying low on VJax and selling high on Decker, but I just can't get excited about VJax with the rib injury and the horrible play of Freeman.

As a VJax owner, I'd be tempted to trade him for something like Stevie Johnson or Torrey Smith at the moment.

don't do it man!

stevie always seems to have his good games early in the year, then he slides off... whether it be injuries or his conditioning... couldn't tell ya

I just came to this thread to see who the hell Jvax was....

Lame, I guess you've never heard of PAD, the Vikings RB, or JMD, the RB on the Jaguars. You must suck at fake football...

Not to thread jack but I consider vjax Colston and Roddy to be buy low candidates, who ends up the best out of those guys this year?

Roddy may (may!) be getting old and breaking down.

VJax's injury is apparently not serious and he was doing just fine heading into week 3. Talib was all over him and then he got hurt, so I'd put this last week out of mind when evaluating him. QB play could be a concern but he seems to rise above it.

Colston is what he's always been. Seems to have a number of underwhelming games but then you look up and he's amassed 1,100 and 10 over the season.

Personally I'd shy away from Roddy and go after VJax if a buy-low scenario presents itself.

The answer is yes. He had a bomb TD called back in week 2 of 70 yards for an illegal formation so add another 14-17 points to his total that week and he uncharacteristically dropped a bomb right in his hands last week for another 10 or so points. Those 2 catches happen and he is tops in the NFL. Do not sell him.

Exactly... I just traded FOR V-Jax

I think his value just went up. Mike Glennon has a huge arm who likes to throw it deep. The QB change can't really make it any worse right?

I think it depends on what hes actually able to do.

My concern is that there are other problems in Tampa which seem to be affecting the whole team.

I don't want to highjack your thread either, but since the other guy did, who would you rather have? JVax or Gosh Jordan

That's a good question... It's probably a push in all honesty. Gordon would have more "breakout" potential I'd say.
