Shoulda parent’s kids be taken away if they get trapped in car during flood

Recommended Posts

Its flooding in the town and people will take their car with their kids and go around town to look at it, get stuck in the flooded waters, and then ask for help. Should they have their kids taken away for endangering the kids lives? They didnt need to leave their home. They just felt like looking at all the flooding going on, took their kids, got stuck, and needed rescuing

Are they in evac areas? I wouldnt say take them away, they probably have no ill intent, just stupid. Different story if kids are injured. Charge them with engagement and restitution for rescue costs.

No.

Wanting to check out the flooding is a normal impulse and stupid things happen.

The town is flooded. National guard had been called in. They were actively saving people with John boats and fan boats. This dumb b1tch decides shes going to drive her and her kids up there in a car, not a truck (with 4 wheel drive I might add ;) ), but a car and got stuck in water that came up over her hood

They didn't take you away when your parents kept dropping you on your head, so no.

Stupidity is not a protected class, I say let them all perish, saves society in the long run.

No. Parents make mistakes. Taking their kids away? Jesus...

Hi Johnny. You are in this foster home and not able to have a relationship with your parents because once they took you into a car and got stuck in a flood.

Wow.

Wow.

Exactly. I and everyone I grew up with would have all been foster children. I remember driving on vacation from Indiana to Florida as a kid.

Dad, can I lay on the floor?

I don't care. Just be quiet.

Dad, can I lay in the back window?

Do what you want, just shut up.

Dad, I need to pee.

You'll pee when I need to pee...

Or shopping after church on Sunday. Mom and I are gonna run in the store for a couple minutes. You kids wait in the hot ass Ford LTD with the factory plastic still protecting the cloth backseat so your legs stick to it and sizzle because dad thinks that brand new back seats add value to used vehicles. See you in two hours, I mean in a few minutes.
