I picked him up in the 12th rd. in a 10 teamer.

How well do you think Reggie will perform this year and do you think he is worth a draft pick? Thanks
-
As soon as I started reading this I thought about the Sopranos episode "Chasing It" from season 6-B, when Tony gets some info from a friend of a nurse about the Miami QB having a hairline fracture, and wants Carmela to bet 500K on the Jets...

Chris Perry "Named" Starting RB for Cincy
Frankie Valiant replied to jmueller44's topic in FFToday Board
He's on my W/W right now! think I might grab him.....I was really big on him a few years ago. and yes he is an amazing tallent, when he was healthy and played he sure looked like a top 10 RB to me anyhow. I have no problem giving him a shot this year -
Thanks jocstrap this may sound a little emberassing but I had no idea that Crumoler was playing for the Titians until I picked him up, and that made me feel better about it... I know how well he played in Atlanta so I was thinking afterward that he will be even better now... he has been a top 5 TE over the last 5 years or so. I am praying that with the change he returns to the Crumpler of old.

I would really like to see the player rankings for this league. it would be interesting as to where guys like Ginn, hester and cribbs would be ranked. -
Well I didn't get my hands on any of the top TE's this year. I had my sleeper in Tony Scheffler so I figured I would grab more tallent in the first ten rounds, and decided to take the Vikings D in rd. 8. well in the 9th and after every team already had a TE (I figured I would be set a few more rounds and then take Tony) someone took him! so now I am stuck with Crumpler as my #1 TE. I know that TE's are a big factor for the Titians. well they used to be. what do you think Crumpler will put up this year? I think the guy is a beast! but I didn't want him as my first option. maybe second. but I have to make with what I got now. so anyway what do you guys think?

Ok I messed up I took Brees 17th and Edwards 24th but QB's only get 4pts for Td and no long distance! but inbetween those spots there still was: TO J.Lewis R.Wayne A.Johnson Colston MJD so I am sure Brees will be gone so you might be able to add Grant or SJ to that list along with Edwards. so you should get a great player to go with MBIII with the 17th pick. the reason I took Brees instead of R.Wayne or TO is because the guy who picked first (LT) was a Saints homer. and it was said that he would grab him with pick 20 or 21. so I figured I would still get a top 5 WR at 24 anyhow.

I took Edwards last night with the 17th pick in a 10 teamer. I also took MBIII with the 4th pick in round 1. I was really hoping that LJ would have been there but he got taken 14th overall. I will check the draft and see who was availble in that spot in the 2nd...brb

Cool I won the SB that year in two leagues (one of the a money) I also grabbed Gates of the W/W after week one. and someone dropped Porter the week before his 3 TD game against the Raiders on Sunday Night which got me a win and put me at the #1 seed. and then LJ kicks in (I went against the guys here on the board and took LJ over Blaylock even though they said that he was a locker room bust and the team hated him)... I scored 102 points in the SB this was a TD league, and I still hold the record for that in this league. I also lost 3 SB in the 5 years before that. what a moment! and what a year! I haven't won a championship since though but I still make the playoffs every year.

Ah that's cool bro...it's good that you brought it here! I had a situation a few years back (the year the Steelers won the SB) in a league where I knew everyone. it was my first year and I checked the settings and it said comissioner vote so I joined. well week 2 it all started, I picked up FWP in the way late rounds like 22nd or so (I knew he was going to be a steal of the draft from the guys here). so this is a QB heavy league and I took RB's and Wr's for the first 7 rounds or so and got stuck with Delohomme and he wasn't doing well, but FWP was taking off and so my plan worked. I had trade bait. ok so this other guy had J.Goerge as his starter (alot of people including myself felt he was going to be a cash register!) and he had C.Palmer as his back up. he drafted Palmer in the 18th round. (this was his first full season) so me and this guy worked out a trade. I offered him FWP and E.Manning (his rookie season) and who I picked up on W/W that week, for C.Palmer and B.Edwards (also his rookie season) and a W/W pick. ok so we have a trade for an 18th rounder a 22nd rounder and two W/W picks no big deal huh?...well the owner of the league puts up a post asking advice for this trade saying "well Palmer is a STUD! and FWP isn't a starter because D.Staley is comming back, this trade is so uneven the guy getting FWP is getting raped! I'm going to have to veto..I need your thoughts"...lol can you believe that? well I took it here and the board just destroyed this guy! I pasted the link and brought it to our site for others to read. so the deal ended up going through I ended up having a top QB with Palmer but lost Edwards the next week for the season . the other guy had a great #2 RB with FWP and he cut George and went all the way to the SB with E.Manning (so much for this guy getting the raw end of a deal). see what the commish didn't know is we were both making what we thought to be sound roster moves I had a bunch of RB's and he had a bunch of QB's so we swapped! isn't that a big part of the game especially when drafting? it turned out the next year we had another guy take over as commish and things have went along just fine ever since.

I am sure there are plenty of people in all walks of life now a' days!

I agree...I used to play in a really big (I mean BIG!) money league and we just didn't have trades. it kinda sucked, but then again it put alot of the bullcrap to rest.

would you take MB111 on the 4th pick?
Frankie Valiant replied to Frankie Valiant's topic in FFToday Board
thanks guys I took him at #4 I think LT was the only sure 100% lock for a RB and I had MB#3 as my no.2 so I am happy to get him. I also got Breese in the second. and B.Edwards in the 3rd. and R.bush in the 4rth. and C.Johnson in the 5th and R.Williams in the 7th.....wow! so two solid RB's a great QB and a top 5 WR to be the base of my team. I also took the Vikings D thanks again kids. -
I have the #4 pick overall in a snake draft. TD passes 4 pts.... 1pt every 25 yards passing TD rushing 6 pts..... 1pt every 10 yards the same with recieving no PPR... what do you think?
