MDC 5,890 Posted February 16, 2018 I have to admit that Daniel Tosh Completely Serious may be the funniest Ive seen. That guy is just so, so wrong. Eddie Murphy Delirious and Rodney Dangerfield No Respect are some other alltine faves. What do you got?
supermike80 1,285 Posted February 16, 2018 Definitely Eddie Murphy delirious. Raw is OK but not nearly as good
wiffleball 4,639 Posted February 16, 2018 I am convinced that every generation has its own signature comedian who basically shapes the humor of that entire generation. For my brother who is 8 years older than me, that would be Richard Pryor. 4 myself and my friends? Eddie Murphy Raw and Delirious hands down. As far as other favorites go after the fact? Jeselnik, Patrice O'Neal. Those two are without a doubt my favorites. But, spending 20 years in Texas, Ron White certainly has his following. And he's funnier than hell. Demetri Martin flies under the radar too much. And, as far as women go? Because most just aren't funny at all. Anjelah Johnson is actually pretty freaking amazing. ETA, Farley and Belushi aren't stand-up comedians.

vuduchile 1,941 Posted February 16, 2018 I wanted to like Tosh, but his delivery seemed strained to me after watching him do the scripted stuff on his show. Delirious is the king. Carlin was great. Cosbys HBO Special from the 80s was awesome. Dice Clay and Kennison in their repsective primes were hilarious. Chris Rock, Martin Lawerence and Jamie Fox were also pretty great. And, Im sure Ill catch hell for it, but Dane Cook has actually made laugh more than once.

shotsup 832 Posted February 16, 2018 I've posted before to mixed reviews but still love this football skit by Bob Nelson at Dangerfield's. Nzoner my man. I was going to post just this skit and dub it as a lesser known comedian - local Long Island guy. I knew him well at the time and this was getting him big offers. He was still just s regular grounded guy. Just never really hit it big. Great guy though.

Cloaca du jour 2,064 Posted February 16, 2018 Right now the funniest I have seen is Billy Gardell. Omg his takes on growning up and raising kids are pure gold spot on comedy gold. Ive seen sam kinison in my 20s and George Carlin. Ive seen alot of comedians. I find as my age changes my humor changes. Funny raunchy... crass rude etc... realized that it doesnt take alot of talent to be crude. I have come to appreciate comics who can make me laugh at simple everyday situations that I can relate to. Gardell is funny as hell.
BunnysBastatrds 1,913 Posted February 16, 2018 Phill Hicks and Patrice O'Neal are my favorites. Two extremely funny comics/thought provoking stand ups of their generation. Went beyond comedy.

Djgb13 2,338 Posted February 16, 2018 Saw Tosh live in Austin years ago. Funny as hell. Saw Steve-O in San Antonio years ago as well. Eddie Murphy, Richard Prior, Dave Chappelle, Rodney Dangerfield, Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Jeff Dunham come to mind
Bert 1,091 Posted February 16, 2018 Delirious is awesome. Some of my grandfathers Redd Foxx albums were also hilarious.

BunnysBastatrds 1,913 Posted February 16, 2018 Delirious is awesome. Some of my grandfathers Redd Foxx albums were also hilarious. Red Fox was great. One of the dirtiest comics ever. But the best was Buddy Hackett for pure filth.

jerryskids 5,192 Posted February 16, 2018 But, spending 20 years in Texas, Ron White certainly has his following. And he's funnier than hell. I love Ron White. He's best known for "you can't fix stupid" but his bit about a plane flight from Flagstaff to Phoenix always brings tears to my eyes: Not all-time; tough to top Delirious. He's best known for "you can't fix stupid" but his bit about a plane flight from Flagstaff to Phoenix always brings tears to my eyes: Not all-time; tough to top Delirious. I mean the first time I heard that. I was driving to work and I literally drove up on the curb. If it wasn't for the fact that it was like 7 in the morning I'm sure every assumed I was DUI. God I was laughing all morning with that one. ...All the way to the crash site. ..
