RT Masters League: Accepting Applications for 2008 FF Season of play! The league is under new management as TBLCommissioner and BlackNumberOne have taken on the roles of co-commissioners following the vacancy created when league founder and former commissioner Loqutis stepped down following the 2007 season. RT Masters League: Hosted by Real Time Fantasy Sports is currently accepting applications for Team Owners. The RT Masters League is an elite fantasy football league comprised of 24 highly enthusiastic and qualified Fantasy Football Gurus. Each selected from applications from all walks of life. The league was founded in 2005 to become a showcase league for RT Sports. There are currently six teams remaining from the league's inception. There is not cost to play and no monetary rewards. GMs simply play for prestige as the competition is fierce. The ability to maintain a longtime presence in the league is the ultimate reward!!! At the end of each season 6 owners / will be eliminated from the RT Masters League and replaced with highly qualified new owners. All interested owners should email an informal fantasy football resume (explaining your fantasy football experience and accomplishments) to robsrebels@hotmail.com for review. Candidates credentials will be verified by all members of the league. Applications will be collected and owners reviewed within the RT Masters League league page throughout the off season. 16 team league no roster limit (80 contract year cap) starting requirements: 1 qb 1 rb 1 wr 1 te 1 k 1def/st 1 hc 3 flex (any combo of rb,wr,te) the league is broken into two 8 team conferences with each team playing those in their conference twice. The season is 13 weeks long with 4 weeks of double header games played (inter-conference games) 6 teams qualify for playoffs. One unique aspect of the league is that the Super Bowl is a combined effort of weeks 16 and 17. Holmes will outproduce ALL of the Steelers WRs this year! I watched EVERY game the kid played in last year and he got better and better as the season went on. He is going to be a star in this league!

I agree!! It's not like the Colts and Peyton did not throw a ton of passes to Edge back in the day. Addai could easily nab 70 catches this year!

If you can, I would STRONGLY suggest that you use an auction format for an initial dynasty draft. This will put the league in a MUCH better starting position.

RTSports.com has added money leagues this year and from what I have scene, they are really good!

If I were you I take AD and CJ2 and try to land other talent with your other draft picks as you get closer to your league's draft. Those two on he same team may be enough to keep you in the thick of htings for the next 5-6 years

If your willing to spend the $$ RT Sports is a great league host! Very reliable and their customer service is outstanding!!!

From an unbiased perspective that deal is NOT even close to being one sided. As someone else stated in a previous post. It would not be out of the question to ask for more in return for LT. Regardless, its your league and you are commish so if that is how you run your league fine. I just know I would NOT want any part of a commish "judging" if a trade is even or not.

Collusion by definition A secret activity undertaken by two or more people for the purpose of fraud. This deal has NO collusion in it whatsoever. It is a fair deal for the greatest player in the game today. I hate commisisoner's that feal that trades need to be good for both parties. Let GMs live with their trades!

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this deal and IMO you need to STAY out of this altogether. IMO deals do not need to be "fair" youy just need two GMs that are willing to make a deal and no collussion involved. The guy is dealing LT and should be able to get as much stuff in return as he can! Do NOT be a meddlesome commish, if there is NO evidence of collusion STAY OUT OF IT!

I don't see it that way at all. Based on the league starting requirements and scoring system I will be right in the thick of things with plenty of ammo to move up and take the top players in the following drafts OR I could unload some of those 1st rounders to add the player I want. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LT, but the bottom line is that I LOST the Super Bowl with him last year in his record breaking year. In fact in 4 of the 4 leagues I played in last year, the team with LT did not win the championship. I also have a "gut" feeling that he is gonna get hit with the injury bug this year. I have thrived with these type of HIGH risk HIGH reward trades in the past having dealt Culpepper for 3 first round picks coming off his MONSTER season as well as SA. I have won a total of 6 championships in that league by making those types of deals in the past and I am certain that my team will overcome the loss of LT too. The one thing I failed to say in my previous post was that LT only had 2 years left on his deal before hitting free agency so I wanted to get something in return while I could. I also dealt him to an expansion team so I am rolling the dice that his picks will be high. I know LT will help him but he still has little depth after him so IMO it was worth the risk. I will be sure to report back here with the results of my season.

That s not a bad offer at all IMO. SJax is going to pass upt LT as the #1 rated dynasty RB anyway. He is 5 years younger too. I know some would say that is crazy, but I could not see passing up all of that for one player.
