Make the best team from your favorite NBA's teams players.

Recommended Posts

Only restriction the players have to be significant contributors/players for your team, ie...Shaq can be listed for LA, Miami or Orlando, not Phoenix, Boston or Cleveland.

Milwaukee Bucks:

PG: Oscar Robertson

SG: Ray Allen

SF: Giannis Antetokounmpo

PF: Terry Cummings

C: Kareem Abdul Jabbar

Rotation: Andrew Bogut, Rickey Pierce, Sidney Moncrief, Bob Dandridge, Marquise Johnson, Paul Pressey, Vin Baker

Team needs another center, but the only options are Jack Sikma and Bob Lanier and while they enjoyed a few good years in Milwaukee, can't really say they were significant contributors.

Surprisingly easy here:

PG: MO Cheeks

SG: Iverson

SF: Dr. J

PF: Sir Charles

C: Wilt

Won't get into the rotation but Moses is first man off the bench.

My son does this with NBA 2K17. You can actually play games with all-time teams. Not sure what I would do with the Celtics as they have so many good ones:

PG - Bob Cousy, Tiny Archibald

SG - Sam Jones, Dennis Johnson, JoJo White

SF - Larry Bird, Havlicek, Paul Pierce

PF - McHale, Heinsohn, Dave Cowens

C - Bill Russell, Parish

The Celts/Lakers could make top 10 teams in terms of overall talent, with their 2nd team players.

McHale...man did I hate him as a Bucks fan growing up. Bird I could respect/live with cause he was so freakishly talented, but McHale and all his spins, drop steps, and hustle plays to score, would just make me

The thing with McHale was that he looked like Frankenstein and you just couldn't see how a guy with all of those legs and arms could put up those points.

There has been a lot of revisiting of this with the trade of the #1 pick to Philly, but the last time the Celts traded the #1 pick was 1980 when they traded #1 overall (Joe Barry Carroll) for Robert Parish and #3 overall (Kevin McHale). Hopefully, this deal ends up being as successful for the Celts. :o

For a couple year stretch Moses Malone was the most dominant player I have seen.

PG - Isiah Thomas

SG - Dave Bing

SF - Dennis Rodman

PF - Ben Wallace

C - Bob Lainer.

This team would be destined to win a bunch of 82-79 games.

1. Jason Kidd - But I choose the young version that was a dynamo of energy. The 16 and 10 walking triple double.

2. Rolando Blackman - clutch. A long prime of scoring 20 per at 50% from the floor.

3. Mark Aguirre - 26-29 ppg elite scorer.

4. Dirk - Dirk reasons.

5. Roy Tarpley - 20 and 13. Could have been as good as the Ewings...but you know...coke and stuff.

Probably the best team any franchise can put together, with a few exceptions.

Jason Kidd over Steve Nash?

It's a solid debate. Nash is a much better shooter than Kidd and a great playmaker in his own right. But I think Kidd is a better playmaker/one man fast break in his prime. And Kidd is a better defender without a doubt.....With Dirk, Ro, and Aguirre, I've got guys that can put the ball in the hoop. I need Kidd to D up and get them the ball in their preferred spots on the court.

With 3 irrelevant guys no one has ever heard of? Warriors today take that series in 6, let alone other teams all time squads. This team wouldn't beat an all time Celtic or Laker bench.

If we had Dumars, Rodman, B. Wallace, and Laimbeer on the floor, the other team would be unlikely to gather even a half dozen offensive rebounds and the over/under is if they would reach seventy most nights.

Considering how Dumars+Rodman in Chuck Daly's schemes regularly shut down Michael Jordan, it'd work on LeBron, Kobe, whoever else.

Throw in Billups, Grant Hill, Aguire, Tripuka, that's just a brutal team, man.

If there are 3 guys there you've never heard of, then you probably aren't qualified to post in a thread like this.

Those were the bug splattered on the windshield Bulls the Pistons would warm up against before they played the Celtics.

I didn't even know we had a rivalry with them until years latter when somebody mentioned a Bulls/Pistons rivalry and I denied such a thing even existed until I heard it more and more.... I guess they had a rivalry with us? who knew? I barely remember playing, let alone sweating them.

That's exactly why I don't think those Bad Boys teams get enough credit. They put the showtime Lakers and the great Celtic teams out to pasture, all the time holding off the greatest player of all time and one of the greatest teams/runs in NBA history.

Moncreif was one of my favorites ever.

Loved going to Bucks games back in the Mecca Arena. Watched Jordan torch us a bunch there too (hell, watch that old Come Fly WIth me video Jordan had...so many highlights on Milwaukee's floor).

You'd have to make room for Kendall gill. I remember thinking those 90s hornets teams were the next big thing.
