Forming New Keeper/Dynasty Leagues 2012
Slimer replied to tdkingsdotcom's topic in Find A League, Fill A League
Would love to be part of a new start-up dynasty league... would prefer 12 teams, $50 ($56 to cover league fees)... LMK if you want me as an owner. Marcus -
Seeking 12-Team, PPR, Non-IDP Start-Up Dynasty League
Slimer posted a topic in Find A League, Fill A League
Long time Fantasy Re-Draft owner looking to get into a new Dynasty FFL. Hit me up if you need a knowledgable owner... Ready to draft now, or later, but prefer a slow-draft system. $50 is what I'm looking to put in, but this is flexible. Marc -
League info and my roster in the signature... I'm planning on starting Greene and am leaning towards B. Wells. Should I? Or should I start Hightower who was named the starter? OR... Maybe MBIII or Jacobs? These two I have hoping one of the two will do something! Thanks... leave a link and I'll respond to your's. On another note... yes, not a spectacular team but a team I'm trying to rebuild for the future... it's been a rough past couple seasons!

Non-PPR league... 1 point / 10 yards rushing or receiving. 5 points/ rush TD, 7 points/ receiving TD, points double over 100 yards. Who should I start?

As an individual trade, I think you gave up quite a bit. MJD is a STUD, but Garrard I'm not a fan of. For me, giving up one of the draft choices would have been more balanced... but when acquiring a stud, I guess you have to overpay at times. What I do like, though, is your RBs! Quite a stable and hopefully trade bait to upgrade your WRs. I really like your Dynasty Team!

I completely agree with this. You have a very nice team and shouldn't "trade-down." In fact, if the other guy is doing so poorly, the trading should probably be the other way around. I would only trade Romo and Grant if you could get a stud (MJD) in return with draft picks... Mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355564

I just made the opposite of your trade in my keeper league... giving up V. Jackson for M. Barber. I think it's a pretty balanced trade, though Jackson probably has slightly more upside... but my only other RB was R. Brown, so I couldn't pass it up. With your RBs, I really like the trade for you. V. Jackson IS a STUD and will continue to be. Mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355564

I play in a Keeper League where each team has to keep 4 and can keep up to 6 players. Each player over 4 results in loss of a 2nd then 4th round draft pick. I'm curious about who I should consider keeping and who I should try to trade for draft picks... if I can. Here's who I have to decide between... QB Cutler RB R. Brown RB S. Green RB M. Barber RB B. Wells WR M. Colston WR S. Holmes WR B. Edwards At the moment, I'm thinking of keeping Brown, Green, Barber, Wells, Colston. I'm thinking that I might keep either Holmes or Edwards... since QBs are plentiful in our drafts. Thoughts? Leave a link and I'll answer yours.

Just finished my draft in a Keeper League... 1 pt for 10 yd rush/receive, 30 yd pass... 4 pts for pass TD, 5 pts for run TD, 6 pts for receive TD. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR/TE, 1 Flex, 1 DEF, 1 K 10 teams, must keep 4, can keep 6... forfeit 2nd and 4th round picks for a 5th and 6th keeper. Here's my team (*Keeper): QB: Cutler, Favre RB: Portis*, R. Brown*, W. Parker*, S. Young*, R. Torain WR/TE: Colston*, Holt*, Cotchery, Winslow K: Kaeding DEF: SEA Any thoughts? I don't like the fact that I don't have a STUD player, but I feel that I have depth in some second and third tier players.

I'm in a 12 team keeper league where teams must keep 2 players and can opt to keep up to 4. The cost of keeping a third player is your second round pick and to keep a fourth is your fourth round pick. Everyone gets a 1st and 3rd round pick. I pick 5th in a snake order draft. My potential keepers are: Parker, Ronnie Brown, Marques Colston, and Clinton Portis. I'm pretty set on keeping Colston and Portis, but torn about whether Parker and/or Brown are worth a 2nd round and/or 4th round pick. My thought is that neither is worth a second rounder... BUT, if both are far better than a 4th rounder. So I'm thinking that I keep both and draft WRs with my 1st and 3rd round picks, or keep none, and gamble on getting better value with 4 picks in the first 4 rounds. I really like Brown and am willing to gamble on getting him back... but not sure whether he's worth giving up a 2nd or gamble and hope to get him in the third (if it seems like he'll last that long). Thoughts? Will answer your's if you leave a link...

No one every talks about how an OL will help in Fantasy Football... but I have Ronnie Brown in a Keeper League and am interested in thoughts about whether drafting Jake Long, OL, will help Ronnie Brown's value this year.... granted, health is the bigger issue, but how much will Long impact Brown's performance barring major injuries? Thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the recovery success and time for an ACL tear, so what's Ronnie Brown's value as a keeper? I'm in a league where you have to keep 4 and has many as 6. Assuming he has successful surgery and rehabs... does he have value?
