Carson Palmer might report next week

My thoughts exactly. The first post says it all. I can't see how this doesn't get real ugly. So many scenarios but all of them bad. If he doesn't at least appear to work hard, learn the playbook and put forth effort the Bengals can suspend him for insubordination, conduct detrimental etc. So I don't see that happening. I just can't comprehend why the Bengals won't move him and get something for him. If someone wants off the team you move him. Even more important if he's a team leader eating up huge salary. It poisons the whole team. The Bengals confound me, it's always controversy, contracts and crime with that team.

    5 Bold Predictions

Jets don't make the playoffs and finish 3rd to Miami. Arian Foster underwhelms. Won't get 1000 yards rushing. Peyton Hillis is a top 5 running back. Steelers lose division to Ravens. Joe Namath and Suzy Kolber sex tape released. It outsells Kim Kardashian tape.

    Indy laying down week 14

Well I'm curious what the forearm thinks? Personally I think it was a low down dirty move to do what they did week 14.

    Brady vs Manning

No hidden mystery, I've been in mourning since the Patriots got dominated by the Ravens. Spygate and the loss in 2007, the Brady injury, this awful season where the Patriots just took about 5 steps back, it was giving me major stress so I took a few weeks off. But even so why would I come here over the last few weeks just to read all of the Manning knob slobbing? No rational posts were to be found. It was all based on one season when Brady was injured and the team around him folded and where Peyton hadn't even won a thing yet. Well I waited until we had some more data, like a playoff run, or Super Bowl. Glad I waited because Manning failed the test with a capital F. GET IT STRAIGHT! I was the 1st person on this website to say that Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL. I wasn't the 2nd or the 3rd I was the 1st. I don't even know anybody in Boston who got on the bandwagon as early as I did. I've never wavered and I've never backed down. If you can't respect that well that's your loss. Manning had a better year and this was Brady's worst year. I don't care what the statistics say, Brady did not play this season up to the standards he set previously. But Tom Brady, is and always has been better than Peyton. Peyton Manning = Dan Marino Plus

    In all seriousness

Congrats to the Saints and their fans! The SuperBowl has somehow transitioned into the best game of the year every year!

    Brady vs Manning

FeelingMN <<< any normal human Roeth better than Brady? More clutch than Brady? What are you smoking? Elway's playoff record is substantially better than Peyton Mannings. He had to win AFC Championships to get to those SuperBowls. Brady 4 time AFC Champion, 3 Time SuperBowl Champion, 16-0 regular season, and a dominant playoff record. FeelingMN you my friend have no clue.

    Brady vs Manning

Who cares? We have Tom Brady. We don't need your Peyton Manning ESPN, NATIONAL MEDIA love fests. I know that I read this site all year and heard everybody say how Manning is soooooooo much better than Brady. Facts are facts. 8-9 in the playoffs is NOT "THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME" It's not even top 3 of all time.
  11. BirdBradyBobbyOrr

List the Colts that choked yesterday.

Polian and Caldwell actually choked in week 14 they've just been in a coma on life support until yesterday. Peyton choked yesterday and the myth of Peyton died due to lack of air.

    Peyton Manning chokes AGAIN!

Good move week 14 by the Colts! Way to stay classy Indy. You got what you deserved and even your own fans know it. Welcome to my world 2007

    Brady vs Manning

Peyton Manning is a great Quarterback. He's one of the greatest to ever play the game. But I'll take Montana, Brady and Elway over him any day of the week! How can any reasonable person that isn't biased and gives a fair consideration to both regular season and post season and Super Bowl performances not say "Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning?" 2002 Colts were pummeled by the Jets in the Wild Card game, 41–0, with Manning passing for only 137 yards 2003 AFC title game Manning was shut down by the New England Patriots top-ranked defense and posted the third lowest passer rating of his career at 35.5. The Patriots defense intercepted Manning four times and sacked him another four. Among these picks is an Interception returned for a touchdown by Ty Law 2004 Ended in Foxborough with a 20–3 loss against New England, when Manning recorded a season-low passer rating of 69.3 2005 Peyton throws and interception that would have ended the game against Pittsburgh but the refs blow the call. The NFL later admits they were wrong. Doesn't matter Manning in the end couldn't drive the Colts to a tie or win. 2009 Yesterday! Interception for a touchdown game over. Peyton is 8-9 in the playoffs and 1-1 in SuperBowls. It's not even a close argument anymore.

Where I was right or wrong?

DUDE I hate to argue with a local but you are WICKED RETARDED! Rodgers is not the better QB right now. Favre had more TD's and a higher QB rating and took his team farther and beat Rodgers HEAD 2 HEAD TWICE! I mean seriously. Who cares if they had to wait each year for his retirement? Why does that matter? You play until the end with a Hall of Fame local super hero at QB and you keep building around him. Why couldn't they draft a rookie and start him like Flacco, Sanchez, or Matt Ryan? Why couldn't they sign a FA the year Favre retired, like Drew Brees in New Orleans? Their are other ways to go about filling Favre's spot than drafting Arron Rodgers to sit on the bench instead of drafting a stud to play on the Packers alongside Favre. They had enough talent and they had the QB already. Green Bay hasn't won a thing. But both the Jets and Vikings who had Favre played yesterday. It was one throw bro. Adrian Peterson lost that game. Favre was trying to make a play because they were out of the kickers FG range. That's an impossible throw for anyone. Arm strength? Have you ###### watched him toss the ball to Harvin this year? Arm strength? It was the 4th QTR after taking a beating all game and on the run across his body across the field. Nobody makes that throw. It was a mental error not physical. He should have run the ball. Terrible call on that PI also.

Where I was right or wrong?

I gotta keep this quick.. I'm in the middle of a web conference.... Brees didn't fold under the pressure against one of the most decorated and celebrated QB's of all time. He stayed strong in the pocket and never gave up. With all that surrounded this game and the quality of the opponent I'd say it was Brees greatest win. Tell me what game in his career was bigger? Exactly. ***** I've said it before I'll say it again. Green Bay wasted the last 5 years trying to prepare for Favre's departure instead of embracing what they had. They would have won games if they built around him instead of drafting for the future. Look what Favre did with that stud offense in Minnesota. Is Rodgers better now? It's certainly debatable and but many would say absolutely not. Many many people, not just me. Green Bay wasted the last 5 years and they still aren't really that close to a Super Bowl. ******** Sanchez he's a gamer. I don't know that he's a winner. Time will tell. ********* JG 2007 wasn't his best season. 04 and 05 were his best seasons. Statistics do lie and since I've watched ever single play that Tom Brady has made in his NFL career which is a hell of a lot more then the 12 plays a week you see on ESPN you might want to pay attention. Sorry to be a smart ass but I mean it. Yes defenses have caught up to the Pats offense and yes the talent level other than Welker/Moss is VERY low at RB, TE and WR. Yes we need a lot of help across the board. But to say he can't dominate games is crazy. He was dominating games in 2004 and 2005. Did Adrian Peterson dominate yesterday? 3 TDs 122 yards? NO because he made mistakes. Mistake free football at QB was Brady in 2001 - 2007. Dominant mistake free football. This year he made a boat load of mistakes and the terrible team around him and terrible coaching by Belichick doesn't excuse his play this year. If you watched every play every game you would know that. There isn't one person in my family, not one of my 3 siblings, not one of my buddies who I watch the games with, not one person in my fantasy leaque or in my office who thinks Brady had a year that "was in line" with his career. 2001 was "in line" with his career. This year was garbage. He'll win a few more before it's all said and done because the Pats are financially in great position for the future and he's the best QB of the modern era. They'll build around Brady. Not the other way around. Manning. Brady is hte best ever. Manning is awesome though.
