Guest fantasyfreak64 Posted June 29, 2006 should i trade my shaun alexander and trent for Rudi, Bulger, Ward ? 12 team league
gocolts 300 Posted June 29, 2006 No way on that one.Bulger is a concern for injury and the new RB friendly system.Rudi is good player to have but Ward is not a stellar WR as far as fantasy football points go.He blows up a few games a year, but some games he will get you 2-15 craap. Keep Alexander, unless you can get a better deal.
JOHN 316 7 Posted June 29, 2006 no brainer.............keep Alexander....no way you trade away a stud for 3 lesser players
SoloMatisse 0 Posted July 1, 2006 thats an interesting trade. Id throw Green's spot out the window. He's not a factor. Youre just giving up Alexander here, and you cant do it unless you get ATLEAST another stud RB in return along with other solid players. I absolutely see it here. Rudi Johnson is the most underrated STUD RB in the NFL. Back to back 1400yd seasons and over 12plus TDs??? Those are stud #s, and they are liable to improve in the TD area. He played hurt MUCH of last season. Ward still has 3 strong seasons left, and will likely get double digit TDs and 1000yds atleast 2 more years. Bulger is an injury risk, but he's a total phenom fantasy QB while he's playing. I love Alexander as much as everyone else, but those sky high #s will level off at some point. This is not a bad trade offer. Id strongly consider it.......you can probably get the guy to throw in a pick.
