billyswim33 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Anyone, I have my draft on this THursday (August 24th) and have been throwing around two draft strategies, but can't decide between the two. Due to a quirky rule we had in place a couple years ago, but that has since been rescinded, I get to keep Lamont Jordan as my 4th round pick. Since I have the 8th pick in a 12 yeam league he is locked in as the 41st pick overall. So my dilemma is what to do with the first two picks; #8 and #17 overall. We are a standard league with 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1Def and 1 point per reception. Obviously, i would love to end up with 2 stud RB's, but I recently did a mock where the following picks went: 12. Steve smith, 13. Chad Johnson, 14. Larry Fitzgerald, 15. Torry Holt, 16. Terrell Owens! This scenario would leave me Marvin Harison or Anquan Boldin, but I don't know how I feel about either of them this year. So I am also considering taking Chad Johnson at 8 and focusoing on a guy like McGahee or Rudi Johnson in the second round with the 17th pick. IF I do go RB at 8, it looks like I will have to choose between Edge, Westbrook, Carnell Williams. Who do you recommend with this scenario?? Btw- Jordan is the only player eligible for keeper status.
