futurecub07 1 Posted November 14, 2013 I recently traded for Stafford, and also dropped Eli a couple weeks ago for Foles (started him for the 7td game.) There's no reason that either player shouldn't have a big game. I just want to know who you think will have the bigger game. Stafford has a below average matchup but the Steelers really haven't faced many good QB so the numbers might not tell the whole story. Foles has a great matchup and this game could be a shootout since the Philly def isn't very good. Thoughts? leave a link
TxTech9 5 Posted November 14, 2013 I say Foles.. Ike Taylor has taken out #1 WRs and we all know how Stafford plays without Calvin. Ride Foles. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=428060&do=findComment&comment=5145140 Thanks
krusi123 9 Posted November 14, 2013 I would go with Foles. Ride the hot hand - Although Pitt is beatable in the pass game, I think Stafford has a tougher match-up than Foles. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?s=29240e00bf2c2ae7005587db879e3137&showtopic=428047 Thanks
Thetits 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Thanks for mine. I agree with the others.... keep riding Foles. He should tear up the Skins' weak pass defense. As you said... both should have big games, but I am leaning toward Foles to have a little better day.

Kam187 6 Posted November 15, 2013 Im in the same exact boat but I don't think that Foles is any sure thing. He laid a bad egg against a weak Dallas pass defense at home with 7 points. There is not a large body of work on Foles. A bad game for Stafford is getting two tds 300 yards and 1 interception. Stafford is a much safer play and Brady just lit Pittsburgh up for what 45 points when he was struggling mightily all season. Stafford has been the best QB in the game after Brees and Manning. To me, its not worth the risk and I see Foles pulling another dissapointing game like he did vs Dallas at home. I wouldn't do it
scottsind 61 Posted November 15, 2013 Go Stafford. Calvin Johnson is on fire and no one can match up with him one on one. Foles is on fire, but Washington's defense really isn't that bad. I see McCoy having the big day not the wide receivers. Dude in my league is playing Foles over Stafford if that is any consolation, but he is in last place. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?s=80a843734e3b0eae3d0152de68463300&showtopic=428081
jzadroga 5 Posted November 15, 2013 Amazing how high Foles stock has risen. I would play it safe and go with Stafford. Foles is gonna have a bad game soon because he ain't Peyton Manning and so many people have fallen in love with him. You can also try posting your matchup question here and see how people vote too.
