Worry About Kicking!?

How much do you guys stress about kickers during playoffs? You worry about weather and matchups?

 

Sounds crazy, but I have Crosby against the Bears and am just worried Green Bay gets shut down and held to 17 points in the cold Chicago weather against a mean defense. Or worse, get shutout and blown out. Meanwhile there is Matt Bryant on the WW at home against the Cardinals...

I certainly give preference to kickers who play in a dome or somewhere like Florida.

I would consider dropping Crosby for Bryant.

Both are on good offenses and one is playing a weak team in a dome

Yea, especially when leagues give 4 points for 40 yarders and 5 points for 50+.

I look for games that the weather might be less of a issue.

I spent over 1/2 of the season with Prater, picked up Bryant for Prater's bye and after a few lackluster outputs I looked at the FA kickers and was surprised to see how low on the season totals those two were - nearly 40 pt. difference between those two and the highest available. I picked up Maher last week and it paid off nicely.

Cardinals D is not horrible..

 

Bryant owners may be slightly disappointed, I see a 24-17 kinda game. Cardinals have been covering double digit spreads this season (@ KC, @ GB)
