I am not a big fan of these tax cuts, I have generally opposed any increase to the deficit including the increases that both the Democrats and Republicans were responsible for recently.

As dumb as those 2 things were, it doesn't change the fact that Obama added about $9 tril to the national debt to $19 tril from $10 tril (nearly double but technically 86% according to linked article). He's also the only president to be at war everyday of his 8 year term. Don't worry, we'll see if Trump can beat those numbers if he serves for 8 years of course.

Tax cuts have resulted in an increased rate of revenue collection to the Government every time they're tried. Tax cuts, therefore, cannot be responsible for increasing the deficit.
