bandrus1 413 Posted November 13, 2017 Besides The Deer Hunter, where she had a small role, name a great Meryl Streep movie. So anything she's been in is overrated. Not saying horrible, but overrated. Doubt is a great movie but may hit a little close to home for ya

Recent Memory to me goes way back The most recent of those movies is 13 years ago, so I feel I'm on pretty solid ground saying that none of them qualify as 'recent'. edjr 5,546 Posted November 13, 2017 Streep is amazing in that movie. amazingly evil seeing as they never officially told us. Did Father Flynn do it or not?

Mungwater 588 Posted November 13, 2017 I've always said they should make a pulp fiction 2 just to show Marcellus telling his guys what happened. M: hey pipe hitting n-words go get your and we have to go kill this guy HPHN: alright, what happened? M: this mother fvcker raped me! HPHN: what happened?? You know the hard pipe hitting guys lose respect for you as the kingpin after they know you got raped. I'd love to see that, even if it's only a blue ray extra

jerryskids 5,165 Posted November 14, 2017 Last good movie I saw in the theaters was The Departed and that was forever ago. I have that on my overrated list. A caricature of mob flicks, and the end didn't follow the rule for suspension of disbelief (that is, they did not reasonably establish that those events would happen).

WhiteWonder 2,170 Posted November 14, 2017 I have that on my overrated list. A caricature of mob flicks, and the end didn't follow the rule for suspension of disbelief (that is, they did not reasonably establish that those events would happen). one of my favorites although I understand many peoples dislike toward it. It was basically set up to be Scorsese's award winner and featured a rock star cast. I guess if someone is a mob movie snob, they wouldn't like it. as for the end, im not sure I get what you mean there. It was farily obvious Matt Damon was going to die... and while i'll admit to not really seeing the set up for Leo getting popped, I was telling my friend halfway through that Marky Mark was definitely killing Damon. From the moment Damon starts rapidly rising in the ranks and gets put on that same case, Wahlberg's character knows something's up. Plus, once Leo leaves the girlfriend the tape evidence, you know Wahlberg is going to find out and get revenge.
IGotWorms 3,297 Posted November 14, 2017 A lot of bad choices in here. Some of you guys have no idea what a good movie is. The last one I saw that I thought was truly focking terrible despite getting lots of accolades was Birdman. Seriously, what a self-indulgent piece of garbage. Lala Land had that possibility too but I think it was just creative enough to avoid total sh1tshow status
