Per Schefter... RB Kenneth DIxon suspended first four games of 2017 for violating NFL policy on PEDs.

 

This will take some of the shine off Dixon's upcoming fantasy hype. Danny Woodhead expected to be signed by BAL.

T West should be rb1 then.

 

And i also keep reading that they might sign Woodhead.

 

I don't think it does much for Woodheads stock, he would still be my first pick in a ppr league of the three Rbs the Ravens have.

Yuck. I liked Dixon as a 4th/5th round upside guy. Now with the suspension opening the door for West to secure time and Woodhead coming in this is a muddled mess.

Agreed............thing about Woodhead, nobody will try to completely feature him but he is relentless about sucking away PPR value from others.

 

If I had to choose one it would be D.W. but unless they are in constant catchup mode he is not really a clear RB2 either.

 

Stay away or grab Dixon off the WW week 3 and hope Woodhead breaks down

If its a shark that drafts him he will be dropped after week 1 for an early WW darling with the upside of a full time role that can help immediately.

As soon as it becomes clear that even when Dixon comes back Woodhead is not going away other WW players will look more attractive than holding Dixon and hoping for a Woodhead injury so Dixon can be an every week starter. If somebody is counting on Dixon with Woodhead there that person is going to have a very weak RB2 situation. IMO Dixon will be on and off the WW several times this year......and I like him.

I'm not all that excited about Dixon.

 

I'm not looking to pick him up , but I'll see what he looks like during the preseason.

 

He will be drafted I'm sure, but I play in all ppr leagues so Woodhead will diffently be the higher priority.

Agree with your assessment. Dixon will only become FF relevant due to a Woody injury.
