Snapping turtles are vicious fawkers. Was on a swamp tour once down on the bayou and they had a fifty year old snapping turtle. One of the guides took a broom stick and starting poking it in the mouth. Bit it clean in half with one bite. They said they fed it dead possums.

But if it was free rats it would be ok? I also had a beautiful king snake that I would feed garter snakes to. The only difference is one is cute and fuzzy... one isnt. Not sure why the outrage. Rabbits werent always available from my supplier. Hey at least it wasnt free puppies. The snake was over 85 lbs. Someone in a local herpetology group could no longer take care of him. I had him for three years then passed him along when I met my future wife... she wasnt having it. He lived another 5 years or so. Rats were too small to feed him. He only ate every few months or so.. 3 rabbits at a time

My favorite pet was my savannah monitor lizard. Named Merrimack. Great lizard. Would go for walks on a leash. Would eat dead rats. One time I had to buy live ones. Got what a mess. He grabbed that rat and just swung his head and kept smashing it into the aquarium glass. Blood all over the place... had to completely clean the tank. No more live rats after that. Ended up trading him back to pet store for equipment to set up a saltwater tank.

Cindy Crazy Coon Ass biotech. Shot a turtle in her back yard. That was a sugar cane field. Walked in the fields with her. looked like a cross of Cybil Shepard and Angie Dickerson.

Bullsh!t. A frozen mouse that was euthanized humanely in no way approximates a live kitten fed to a snake. If you really don’t understand the difference, I suggest you read up on animal cruelty laws in your area. Better yet, tell the people who gave you the kittens and local law enforcement.

this restaurant had a huge kitchen with a giant pot of boiling water. They would take this noose type thing that Animal Control officers have. Slide it over a cat neck and then take it directly from the crate to the water.

 

Some thing about loosening the skin,fur.

 

Then, in seemingly one move, would rip the whole damn pelt off this cat.

 

Did I mention the cat was still alive for all of this? In retrospect, the most amazing part was the cat wasn't squealing at all. Just wide-eyed, shaking and seemingly wondering what the is going on.

 

Subsequently butchered. Probably the most Humane part of that whole damn film.

 

Never forgot that .
