Playoff Home Field Advantage.....

Recommended Posts

It just doesn't seem to work out to be much of an advantage these days.

Perhaps GB will come through.

The road teams are the better teams in this round.

KC just blew it & I would have called Cincy/SD a coin flip.

Yeah it's a crap shoot in wildcard.

People speak of home field advantage. But the first round bye is far more important. Those top teams in each conference are going to be tough.

Yup. BYEs don't seem to be very important these days either.

Hell, it almost seems like teams without a BYE are able to build more momentum, and that's all that matters now.

You're right lol... Truly amazing with the injury factor and getting players healthy. Momentum has always been important in football. I guess why that has made resting key players and coasting once you wrap up such a questionable practice.

If Green Bay has a lead in the fourth quarter, in Green Bay, in sub-zero temperatures, against a team from California, and loses...yeah, home field advantage is practically dead.

Well...that GB was even in that game and had the lead given how bad the defense was...plus guys dropping like flies.

I think the home field advantage (weather in this case) was what made it close.
