Side note. Who was #30 on the Celtics? He looked way out of place, like the fat guy in your over 40 league. All that was missing were rec specs.

Who is that dude? How is he in the NBA?

He's the guy with two more wins in this series than Lejoke.

Did you slap your knee after typing that?

40/10/12 in a double digit loss, and if you watched James was encouraging his teammates as they left the floor.

Hes all a team would ever want in an NBA player. Dude is indefatigable.

Great team win for the Cs.

But seriously, WTF is number 30? He looked waaaay out of place. It was like when a college team empties the bench and that professors son who walked on goes out on the court.

No, this guy was like 6 foot 5 and 300. Looked as if Sir Charles Barkley put on a jersey. Not Barkley circa 1991. Barkley TODAY.

Did Guerchon Yabusale get in the game?

Did Guerchon Yabusale get in the game?

Yes, played last 90 seconds or so.

Just got back from the game. Place was rocking in the 2nd half. Lebron looked unstoppable at times, but he only had Love playing with him. The rest of that team stinks.

Oh damn, Cavs lost again? It’s getting pretty dire, I don’t care what he says, 0-2 is a sizeable hole vs a good team.

Had great seats in a box behind the Cavs bench. Was a last minute thing through work, so it worked out great. Games are definitely better when the Celts (insert home team) here. ;)

Especially when, as KSB said, besides Lebron and Love, the rest of the team sucks.

Good call. Despite a 40 point triple double from the GOAT, three things happened.

1. JR Smith is awful at basketball and dirty. Nice game altering 30 seconds JR. Idiot.

2. Brad Stevens - hes the X factor. Has the team playing TEAM defense with energy.

3. Cavs must have a third scorer. Somebody has to make shots. Korver sucked second half. JR was like 0-7. Ugh. Little help guys.

Lebron quit, his team quit. Was the most shallow triple double of all time. (I heard that on the radio, I didn't watch)

LeBron is the best player on the court. The next 7-8 best players are all Celtics.

Come the Finals, the best 3-4 players on the court will all be Warriors.

Dirk didn't have a third scorer in 2011.

Spurs didn't have a number 1 scorer at all in 2014.

Curry didn't have a third scorer in 2015.

It's really just Lebron that seems to require a really good third scorer. :dunno:

Trash teams make conference finals?

:D

All joking aside, LeBron probably learned quite a bit this go round.

The next time he handpicks a roster, he'll be able to use this experience to make better decisions.

Third scorer? Who is the Cavs 2nd scorer?

Agreed, Love isn't nearly consistent enough.

He should join the 76ers. They already have two All Stars and a handful of excellent role players.

Until he runs them outta town.

The thing the Sixers have going for them with LeBron is that Phillys two best players play a different game. Simmons is a distributor who doesnt need to take a lot of shots and Embiid is a pure big man. Theyd badly need a shooter but thats it.

If he ran them out of town after a title I would think it was worth it.

You guys are missing the plot when you say Lebron needs scoring help.

Larry Hughes averages 22 pts per game. Joins Lebron and average 15 pts per game.

Antawn Jamison averages 21 pts per game. Joins Lebron and averages 15 pts per game.

Chris Bosh averages 24 pts per game. Joins Lebron and averages 18 pts per game.

Dwayne Wade was a scoring champ that averaged 30 pts per game in 2009. by 2011 with Lebron, he was a 22 pts per game guy.

And his current teammates....

Kevin Love averages 26 pts per game. Down to 17 pts per game with Lebron.

Rodney Hood is a 16-17 pts per game guy. Down to 10 pts per game with Lebron.

Jordan Clarkson averaged 15 pts last year. Down to 12 with Lebron.

George Hill scored 17 pts per game last year. Down to 9 pts per game with Lebron.

So go ahead....Get Lebron some scoring help, but I predict the following....

Stick him on the Blazers, and watch Lillard's average drop from 27 to 21 pts.

Stick him on the Spurs, and Aldridge goes from 23 pts to 15 pts per game instantly.

Let him join George on the Lakers, and watch George drop from 22 pts to 16 pts.

Then we can all talk about how he really just needs some scoring help....all the while missing the true plot.

Cbfalcon theres some truth to what youre saying but of your list of LeBron teammates above the only players who are the Top 1-2 scorers on any contending team are Wade, and possibly Bosh and Love.

Sure Wade and Bosh both saw their stats go down. They were both playing with LeBron and each other. Theres only one basketball and x number of shots to go around. They also won a few championships so it seems to have worked out. Love is inexplicable to me. I think hes mostly been exposed as a volume scorer and a finesse big man.

If Hill, Hood, Clarkson, Hughes etc. are not the second best players on any contending team.

LeBron is ball dominant but hes also surrounded by garbage in Cleveland.

When the Celtics win it all, will it be even more amazing than the Iggles winning the Super Bowl with a back up QB?

They didn't win a FEW championships. And, IIRC, they promised to win like 5-7.

Won't happen but, yes, that would be far more impressive.

I can't see Simmons and LeBron working well together. Simmons doesn't need a lot of shots but, he needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

Both players dominate the ball. LeBron would have to agree to a diminished role, post or spot up shooter, I'm not seeing it.

Lot of truth here, won't dispute any of it.

In this instance, my problem is with Love, he isn't consistent when it matters. Never has been.

No KD and the Green suspension played in heavily. It's best viewed as a one-off.
