C. Matthews was a big beotch in the playoffs. He also took a very late, cheap shot at Romo's knee in the divisional game.
F Clay, they deserved to choke.
Watch the play again where Clay supposedly took a cheap shot on Romo. He was blocked & had his head down when Romo threw the ball. Wasn't aware that Romo had released the ball & made the only tackle he could make while stumbling forward.
FWIW, I'm not a Packer fan. Just call em like I see em.
Still can't believe the Bengals let this guy walk at the time they released him but with the Hill/Gio combo now he'd still be the odd man out.
The injuries have piled up for Bradshaw & TRich is just plain awful. So it's not surprising that Boom has possibly carved out a starters role for himself in 2015. But with the RBBC approach in the NFL, don't be surprised if the Colts add another RB late in the 2015 draft.
They should go this route but who knows with their ownership. This is the same organization that just paid Jay Cutler a shipload of money in the offseason & now are talking about trading/releasing him all while taking a huge cap hit.
Feel sorry for Forte/Marshall and soon to be Jeffrey for wasting some of their prime playing years on such a gong show of a team.
I was down 9 going into Monday night he had hill I had d Thomas in 1pt ppr. I ended up losing by 9 pts basically from odb's 80yd td grab and had Thomas not had 80yds and 2 catches called back due to penalties I would've won by 1 pt. Oh well that's ff. It was my fourth super bowl appearance in a row and I'm 1-3 in those four appearances and it's my 7th super bowl in our 14 yrs in the league and I'm 1-6 in the super bowl. This guy I just played has beat me 4x for the title. Now that's some bad luck but hey I've played for free basically as I've won some money but I'm like Peyton, great in the reg season and snake bitten in the one big game that matters. Onto next year.
I lost due to ODB's 80-yarder as well. Was down 29 in a PPR/small bonus league. Hill got me 22 but his long TD run to start the game gave me a glimmer of hope. Thought he was gonna get the nod on the 1yard line but Dalton threw it to Gresham instead.
Oh well, good season anyways. Still won plenty of $ so I'm happy.
Let's say: Team A loses in Round 1, and (as per our payouts) is officially eliminated from any money contention. Team B and Team C win through their brackets and will now meet in the SuperBowl. The teams that B & C just defeated will also play, but for 3rd place money. There is no 4th place money.
Now, it's an ESPN league, so the site still seems to put teams in consolation brackets despite them being eliminated. Team A drops a player, which is picked up by Team C for use in the SuperBowl. Anyone else see a problem here?
Shouldn't the commish be freezing rosters of teams that are out of money contention? (Not a keeper league)
Yes, teams eliminated for money contention should not be allowed to be making moves. Is this a rule in your league or just your opinion? In the league I commish, I posted a message on the league page notifying owners that once you're knocked out of the money, they should refrain from making add/drops. If you're league doesn't consist of dooshnozzle's, it's pretty effective.
