    Chicago Def

Chicago is the best FF D/ST this year, with its best matchup all season. Don't chase last week's turnovers by the Jets' in this week's game.

    Way Too Much RB Depth..

Your current thinking is the way to go. Never bench your studs based on matchup. You simply should not overthink that one. We've all done it and all paid for it at one time or the other. Lynch qualifies as a stud, so he is a must start. Maybe SF shuts him down, maybe not. Martin, too. That really leaves your flex between Morris, Moreno, Leshoure and Wilson. Leshoure is increasingly in a time-share and has been underwhelming. Wilson may or may not share time this week, and did little last week in his first chance to carry the load alone. Neither adds up to me wanting to start him over Morris or moreno. of those two, Morris has been verging on the stud level all season, so I would go with him.
  3. I don't understand your dynasty league rules and, therefore, have no idea what you are asking. Is Ray Rice one of the players you can keep under your dynasty rules? For how long, one year? For 2? Forever? Are the two rookies players you can keep? For 1 year? for 2? forever? It makes all the difference in the world. If you are you giving up Rice for the rest of the year, but just this one, and get two draft picks next year you can keep forever, maybe do the trade, particularly if you are down this year and out of contention. If that is not what you are askign, I simply don't know. I do know that if you can keep Rice as part of your dynasty, you'd be crazy to give away one of the top three RBs in the game for nothing but two rookie draft picks. You'd count yourself extremely lucky if either of them panned out as a top 10 RB, much less a top 3 guy.
  4. There is no way I would trade Charles for 1 WR straight up. I'd have to get 2 starting stud WRs before making any trade. Think about it, Charles plus Decker and/or Jennings/Moss/WW WR, are going to score you more points than Doug Martin, plus one WR you get from them plus Decker (or Jennings). Teh drop off from Charles to Martin is far steeper than the upgrade from Decker + Jennings to WR trade bait/Jennings.

    Ryan Matthews for Doug Martin

I have Martin. I would take that offer in a heartbeat.

    Ryan Williams for Chris Johnson?

No. Right now, Pitta and Gates aren't worth quibbling over. This is CJ for Williams. CJ is barely worth a bench spot at this point. He wouldn't be worth one if you judge just the performance this year -- or last. The "barely" is merely those willing to cling desperately to the hope that maybe, maybe, he can run for 100 yards one game to justify the misplaced decision to draft him in round 1 or 2, start him because of it, and cripple the team. I'd rather have Williams.
  7. I got you all beat. I have all of Forte, F Jackson, Spiller AND R. Bush. Woo Hoo!

    How's this for getting boned

For me: F. Jackson - out Forte - out CJ Spiller - out R. Bush - out Fortunately, I went deep on RBs in teh draft and someone dropped Mikel Leshoure for Hillis before the weekend, with me picking him up, so I can limp (pun intended) along with Doug Martin and Leshoure and D. Brown until one of more of these get back on the field.

    I will answer all questions

10 team, non-ppr, CBS "standard" scoring format (6pts per td, including passing). Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 1 flex (TE, RB, WR), 1K, 1 D/st. I have (with injuries, current starters in bold): QB. Brees, Alex Smith RB. Forte, Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller, Doug Martin, Reggie Bush, Donald Brown, Dwyer WR. Harvin, Marshall, Welker, Lafell, Blackmon (trying to sway for Amendola per waiver wire tomorrow morning) te Pettigrew k Graham D/ST Texans I was offered DMC and Stewart for Spiller. Had this been offered pre-season, I'd have jumped at it -- but we aren't in pre-season. Spiller is on fire, DMC isn't. That being said, Spiller may lose carries on Jackson's return, leaving me a headache and less production with both sides of that tandem. Plus, while DMC has not performed yet, we are only 2 games in. Stewart is extra, but is hurt again. That also would put me over roster limits, requiring me to drop either Dwyer or Blackmon (depleting an already thin WR core). My gut tells me that I shouldn't fix what isn't broken, as right now I'm 2 for 2 with the highest total points.

What do you need Monday night?

I will win my head to head so long as Gates does not get 140 yards plus 9 TDs -- I think I'm safe and that my opponent needs to re-think both his roster this year and his draft strategy next. Our league gives a few dollars to each week's high scoring team (an incentive to get each owner to remain active in team management even as playoff spots start to slip out of their hands). I'm in the lead and am done for the week. I will get beat out if Rice gets 10 points -- 100 yards or 40 plus a TD will do it. On that one, the safe money is against me. The best game in our league for tonight has one teamn with a 4 point lead and DMC, the Ravens, and Torrey Smith going against Rivers, Gresham and AJ Green. That is a hard one to call with one team having a QB going, but with all the Chargers' problems at WR, I am betting on DMC and crew to win out. Of course, if Gates gets that 140 yards and 9 TDs, mentioned for my game, the Rivers owner is sure to win his matchup too.
