They lost but gained momentum in that Pats game. At home here. Browns trotting out a rookie QB mid rounder in Kessler. Corey Coleman their best WR broke his hand in practice. Parker back helps the Phins. I feel a big game from them like 30-10

The Jets are the real deal this year, strangely enough (At least a bigger real deal over a sucky KC D so far)

I agree the IND game is no lock. But if I'd put those games in order of confidence I would've put KC first. Jets are a hodge podge of scrapped players just good enough to compete... but not win. KC has been underrated for years because Alex Smith isn't a big star QB.

Those hodge podges are playing pretty damn good together so far

KC seemes to have lost whatever magic they had last year.

Granted, playing at Arrowhead is a huge advantage, but I like Decker to go big this week.

Two starting guards were out last week and will make a difference if they can go. Also hoping to get Charles back. The secondary is really inexperienced. Young guys appear to have a lot of raw talent, but at times seem lost or miss assignments. Same with Justin March filling in for Justin Houston. Hopefully they progress throughout the season and bering to gel as a unit.

But it is the Pats. I liked Houston to win the division before the year started so they don't surprise me. They are a solid team.

 

But the pats with their backup QB and no Gronk WENT to AZ and won as a 9 pt dog. Not sure why they can't beat a less talented team in NEW ENGLAND with their 3rd stringer. And Gronk.

 

I'm not all over it or anything as Brissett is a question mark. But I don't see why they can't win. The Texans have Brock Os for focks sakes. Not like the 3rd stringer is going up against an all timer.

He knew going into the season and since the season started that he was the 2. So he isn't exactly a 3rd stringer all of a sudden getting ready off the practice squad. He has gotten more work than any "3rd stringer" out there. He has had to stay ready as the backup.

 

Plus BB is better than any coach on a short week....especially at home no travel.

 

So I don't see the point there...

He makes ballsy calls sure. But they are easily the most prepared for special situations and scenarios than any other team week in and week out. Plus they always give a good effort with a sound game plan and play calling even when missing pieces, THey are the best at giving things a shot and understanding what their best chance to win entails. With a 3rd stringer they expect to win and put the best effort out there. Like how they went to AZ with oh no "a backup QB:" as 9 pt dogs and won outright. Verses a team many people would have considered a top 3 team in the NFL. They were prepared as the road team and expected to compete and win,
