and they do not look good. proving how parity runs rampant through the NFL.

It is so hard for NFL teams to do well year after year.

Carolina had one of the all time soft schedules last year. The whole division was a mess and they played the NFC east and the AFC south. And a hapless Giants team would have beaten them if the Toddler playing WR had controlled himself.

yeah - we see it every year... it's what makes the NFL so great - NO TEAM can maintain any dominance for even a 4 or 5 year stretch... they rise, they fall.

It's true. Except for the Jets, Bills and Dolphins. Very little rise, lots of fall.

I still have no clue how Buffalo beat Arizona and beat them so handely. Arizona has the far talented team while the Bills have had a rash of injuries and suspensions by their idiot players. And the Cardinals came out clueless.

Its week 3 guys, calm down.

Since the current playoff system (12 teams) was instituted in 1990, 23 teams have rebounded from a losing record after four weeks to qualify for the postseason. Four of those clubs advanced to their Conference Championship Games, including the 2001 New England Patriots (1-3) en route to their Super Bowl XXXVI victory.

So on average almost 1 team a year (0.92) that has a losing record after 3 games make the playoffs.... not to bad. Like I said its week 3, calm down.

Except in the case of the lions and browns....where they fall.....and then fall a little further. Dominance for the lions is consecutive seasons near .500.

Carolina is one game out of first and lost to minny and denver, 2 of the top defenses....and they haven't played a division game yet they could bounce back

Cardinals look like crap. All 3 phases suck. On defense they look like they have no football IQ. On offense Arians is so stubborn about his chunk plays that he keeps trying them even when the (Bills) defense was clearly set up to take them away. Special teams is more like special ed teams. Pathetic across the board.

But on a more positive note, Larry Fitzgerald just graduated from U of P. So congrats Larry!

It is certainly nice when your best player is also a great role model.

ETA: OK, he isn't technically the best any more, but he is the face of the franchise.

I play in a big LMS league. Ten thousand dollar winner take all. Picked them figuring there is no fawking way the Bills were going to beat them with that so-called "great" defense.

OC change is often times good for teams. People overestimate how much the players affect W/L and underestimate how much coaching, scheme, gameplan play into it. Everyone is a pro out there, sure some guys are better, but by and large parity equals it out some. In college you have the men vs boys effect in some schools so you get 70-6 blowouts.
