I made a DT if you need him - Junk Trunk. I usually get into these games, so you can count on me to stay active. And spend money on FPs...

Michael Turner or Kevin Jones? Who do you keep?

Way too early to call this. We have no idea where either one will be next year. -
Just looking at the stats, they had 7 runs and one of them was a reverse (I'm guessing) that went for -15 yards. That's the dumbest game plan I've ever heard of...

Before the season, I was very anti-SA on this board and I did a lot of research to support my stance. One thing I noticed is that both SA and Morris suffered YPC averages that were well below their respective career averages. Not only is SA running poorly, but his O-line is not the run blocking machine it once was. This year his YPC is 3.4. In the last 5 games, SA has faced 3 of the worst run defenses in the league. He has zero TDs in the last 5 games and, while he hit 100 yards against Cinci in week 3, he hasn't rushed for more than 80 yards in 4 weeks, failing to break the 50 yard mark in the past 3 weeks. Yes, his schedule looks pretty juicy from here on out, but it looked juicy for the past 5 weeks and he has nothing to show for it. I don't see how an older RB with a significant workload is going to look fresher in the second half of the season. Stay away, imo.

From a poster named "hookers"?? Pun FULLY intended - nice job!

Whatever term you want to apply to Jacobs, I agree with the OP. Who knows if he's injury-prone, is soft, has a low tolerance for pain... whatever. He seems to get dinged/knicked up more than most other RBs, and I find myself holding my breath every time he's tackled. I'm trying to trade him away as we speak. In a keeper league, no less.

So I guess he's hurt. Pretty fragile for a big man - killing me....

Cleveland's offense is ranked 8th in total yards and 12th in rushing. They're the surprise offensive power house of the year, and they haven't had the easiest schedule (Pitt, Oak, Balt and NE - wow). Except that Cinci game, which does pad the stats a bit, but it shows what they're capable of against a bad defense. And the last time I checked, Miami's defense was pretty bad. The O-line is better, the passing game is almost impressive and the play calling has been quite effective. Many, many people think J. Lewis has lost a step or two. So what can Wright do on this offense against a bad defense? Something special, I hope. The next two teams after Miami look promising too - St. Louis and Seattle. I think he's an excellent short term pick up, with the possibility of more if Lewis is out for awhile.

This is painful... Now I'm actually worried about losing.

Rut-roh... Stop throwing to Witten!

Hmm... I need 4 points from Romo tonight to win. He was the #1 QB going into this week in my league. This is eerily reminiscent of last year, when I needed Rex to score 6 points to win and he was the #2 ranked QB. It was Monday night. He played the Cardinals. Yep, I lost. It can't happen twice in two years, can it??

I look at home field, defensive/offensive injuries, current defensive/offensive performance and then add a touch of instinct. With what was available on the WW this week, I was between Ari and GB. I chose GB.

Don't forget Rhodes is coming back.

What baffles me is that Gore didn't have *any* talent around him last year and had a great year. This year he has better WRs, a supposedly improved QB, a deeper O-line and a much better defense. Yet he *seems* to be performing worse than last year. And I can't believe it's game planning by the opposing D - you're telling me defenses didn't game plan against him last year?? Which leads me to believe it's the one other thing that changed - the coaching. I'm hoping it's just a chemistry/gelling thing, and that once they start clicking, they'll be very, very impressive, including Gore. The potential is there.

Are you mocking chess?? A pulled abdullah oblongata is nothing to laugh at. So you're a recovering Seahawks fan Flahawker? My condolences. Just for the record, do you honestly think I suggested the foot and wrist injuries are connected? C'mon - you're just assuming. And if you know anything about The Odd Couple, you know what happens when you assume... One bone break is an injury. Two is serious cause for concern.
