PSULions 0 Posted May 14, 2014 I feel your pain Godfather! It hurts when your Ace goes down with TJ surgery and will be out for 12-18 months. Ghost96 4 Posted May 14, 2014 This was more than just a really good pitcher, ...and a terrible injury break. When I saw the news on JF, I wanted to barf. Even though I'm in two leagues, and I didn't even come close to signing him on in either league, ....I've seen a fair amount of his 2014 footage. This guy has been simply DISGUSTING, ....DOMINANT. And he won't turn 22 until the end of July. Such a shame to see a young dude with that degree of talent get shut down for untold months. I think that these pitchers arms are close to being destroyed before they even get to the post-high school years and it is just a ticking time bomb... Proper mechanics and maybe refrain from throwing breaking balls until they get a lot older would help instead of letting loose at the age of 12... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

First, a lot more was lost that just a few people missing their fantasy ace. we won't be able to watch him for the next couple of seasons. And will he ever get back to the form we have seen the first couple of years? Who knows..... Secondly, something definitely must be done about the number of arm injuries happening each year.
