I traded Zac Stacy for the 1.02 in this year's draft.

My current RBs are Forte, Ball, Foster, Ridley, Todman, LeShoure, Gerhart, Barner

It gives me the 1.02, 1.06, 2.05 and 2.06.

It's tough giving up on Stacy, particularly since he didn't play on my active roster this past year...but I need WR help desperately and someone like Evans should help dramatically in that department.

Can I ask what you do have there at wr?

I'm just wondering if you could've packaged a different player with the 2.5 and 2.6 picks for a half way decent WR.

Kept Stacy, and also used 1.6 on a rookie WR. The 1 thing you had going for you is this WR rookie crop is fantastic and very deep. That was your weakest position, but 1.6 is was still gonna be a great pick for you.

Not bashing the deal you made. I'm just wondering if you had alternatives.

Marlon Brown, Fitzgerald, Streater, James Jones, Harry Douglas, Hankerson.

Garbage.

Yes, thats a little tough. What about something like James Jones and 2.5 and 2.6 for a better WR? (Or something along those lines)

You keep Stacy and still use your 1.6 on another WR.

Or was something like that just not in the cards?

I just hate seeing you get rid of Stacy (even though you did get great value)

So far FA has given my Dynasty team a little boost. My RBs were garbage when i took over last year.....Jackie Battle. Evan Royster. Felix Jones.

I drafted Andre Ellington late last year, and picked up Khiry Robinson, Latavius Murray and Toby Gerhart as stashes late in the season. So far, the FF Gods have been kind to me.

Andre Ellington: Rashad Mendenhall retires, ensuring at the least a time share with Stepfan Taylor

Khiry Robinson: The Saints are openly trying to get rid of Sproles and Thomas, leaving Robinson and Mark Ingram to duke it out.

Toby Gerhart: Just signed with the Jags, and with that contract will be given every opportunity to be the starter.

Latavius Murray: Rashad Jennings signed with the Giants, leaving only He Who Is Made Of Glass between him and starting.

Now if i can just get Ryan Mallett traded to the Texans.....

I have ryan mathews :(

Me too. I believe that Mathews is 3xs the talent that Donald Brown is. But what a wierd signing by the chargers when you still have R.M. and Woodhead.

Not to sure what this is gonna mean for carries?

I think this signing is similar to the Greene signing by Titans last year from the Chargers standpoint. Flakeout insurance against the starter for 2014 and isn't Mathews in a contract year?

So they make sure something is in the cupboard for 2015 also. I disagree on the talent disparity as it seemed it clicked for Brown last year as well and the PFF grades show it beyond the FF relevance.

Unlike Greene last year I do think Brown is a serious threat for significant carries this year even if Mathews stays healthy but at least Mathews can't possibly have any greater motivation at this point.

12 team ppr dynasty

Team A: Peyton Manning

Team B: Tony Romo & 1.06

I would be concerned if romo was going to be my starting qb. If the team who traded away manning is rebuilding then i can understand the move.

why would you be concerned about Romo ? He could have had 35 TD's and 5000 yards if he didn't get hurt. Now he gets Staffords old OC and has his killer receiver group.

The monster game against Denver really made his year look a lot better than it was. I mean he wasn't bad, and if your team is very good he would be fine as a starter, but I just like a little more dynamic out of my QB.

Matt Stafford's OC doesn't excite me too much. Dallas loved to pass just as much as any team last year and Romo still finished as the 10th best QB. Stafford has been disappointing in my view since he threw 41 TDs in 2011. Romo is going from a pass heavy offense to an offense that will still be pass heavy.

Terrance Williams is overrated imo also. I don't see him being as dynamic as everyone thinks he is.

To be fair, the starting QBs on my dynasty teams going into last year were Russel Wilson and RG3. I thought Wilson was going to have a better season than he did. He did fine for me, but as the 8th best QB last year he wasn't anything special. Maybe some on here think the same about Wilson as I do Romo.

I would be satisfied with Romo as a starter in every league I am in this year.

Not overwhelmed with joy, not bubbling with expectation, not elated with anticipation.

Fully satisfied is an underrated emotion you cannot fully appreciate until you can't get none

i'll let you dynasty/keeper afficionados give your take on my offseason moves thus far.

Dynasty League 1

sum of my moves

GAVE: MJD, Latavius Murray, Kendall Hunter, Ladarius Green, 1.10, 2.10, 4.10, 2015 rd3

GOT: Vereen, Rashad Jennings, Marvin Jones, Knile Davis, Jeremy Kerley, 2.01, 3.06, 4.02

Dynasty League 2

League not as active, havn't made any trades yet but good news in Tate going to Cleveland and Jennings going to NYG gives me some solid depth behind Foster and Doug Martin. Also DJax leaving Philly is good for Cooper.

The previous owner really sucked. The team was trashed. Southcarolina has been just what the doctor ordered. One thing he had was lots of roster space to roll the dice on any younger player with upside and he loaded up wisely on the waiver wire. He can field a competitive team right now in 2014 with a bunch of guys most casual FF owners have never heard of after just one year and complete a full turnaround into maybe a top team as early as next year or the year after when his crop of rookies and 2nd year players start to blossom.

Well really the only way i could have done worse than the last guy would have been to bail on the league in the middle of the draft.

But thanks for the kind words. I'm still not trading you Julius Thomas for Rod Streater though

After last year's experience desperately backing up the bank truck in your driveway at the trade deadline and you waved it away, I've concluded that you have no interest in trading Thomas (or anybody else- I'd have settled for overpay for lesser talent as well but wound up going into the playoffs with no deal and Pettigrew). The window of opportunity when I was offering myself for an a$$raping has been closed.

Those deals are gone. Now I have Rudolph healthy again, he has Norv Turner in town, and hopefully Eifert may do something this year. Meanwile Nikki has some serious TE depth coming around this year too that I could probably get for a reasonable price. All I really need is a TE2 for one year since Gresham should be out of Cincy by 2015 and Eifert plus Rudolph should keep my TE spot well enough.

I seriously regret not accepting that trade....it had more to do with me being brand new to Dynasty than it did with not wanting to trade Thomas. Honstly i havent ever played in a league that did a lot of trading, so im still not comfortable with the whole process. But oh well, you live you learn. I'll figure it out someday :)

I kind of compare the rapid wave of dynasty trading to masturbating in public. At first it seems wrong, yet exciting. After getting caught a couple times its just like masturbating anywhere else.

The first trade of the season for me. And maybe the only pre draft trade, I don't really expect to shake things up. At least until our draft starts.

12 team ppr. start 1qb 2rb 3wr 1te 1flex

I give Rueben Randle and 2.02

I get Cecil Shorts and 1.10

As a McCoy own the Sproles addition has me a little concerned. How much of a hit does McCoy's fantasy value take with the addition of Sproles? Where do you now have McCoy ranked?

And can someone direct me to a site that has 2015 free agents?

I really don't think it will affect his value a whole lot. With DJax gone I think Sproles will be used more to help replace his production. Sproles will be 31 at the beginning of the season so I really doubt he is dynamic enough at that age to warrant taking away touches from McCoy too often. Shady may have fewer touches just to keep him fresher during the year, but Sproles will doubtfully have much of an impact on him.

It looks fairly updated at a quick glance. It was the second site that popped up on a google search.

Its this time of year when there nothing really going on that I start over thinking and questioning my team.

I'm in the same boat. I'll want to trade for Sproles later but the owner is inactive during the offseason.

My prediction: I'll offer a fine younger player with upside for the older handcuff and be rejected. Get some ridiculous counter offer. Then just before playoffs start watch McCoy get hurt, offer to pay the counter-offer and interest and get rejected.

As for answering your question about McCoy's ranking, I wouldn't move him. He's a great RB who'll get his share. If Chip Kelly is inclined to cut down on his touches this year, I think it happens no matter who was on the roster- Sproles or no. Sproles isn't a threat to McCoy's time, only to McCoy's backups' time. I'm not worried about it.

Or maybe not even that.

Really, Sproles is a nontraditional player and hard to predict. Now he has a nontraditional coach. He has always been a sort of odd-shaped jigsaw piece for the OC to play with and figure out what to do. The goal is always to find some way to get him in space with the ball in his hands. He may well be used at the same time as McCoy in some effort to replace DJax.

While I don't think Sproles is the back up of McCoy, but he will certainly eat into McCoy's playing time. This is the trend of NFL, work horse RB is getting less and less. I believe they are good for both players and their teams. As far as fantasy concerned, the stud RBs era probably are gone, the stud WRs might be new way to go about your draft.

What are your starting requirements?

If you can start more than 2 rb's or use 1 as a flex. I'd love the idea of Spiller,Bush, and Ellington since this a a ppr league.

Also with Bush and Spillers knack for getting dinged up, having 3 good rb's would be huge. Just incase you have to move that flex back starter into the RB starter role.

So for me it comes down to WR preference. I'd keep Fitzgerald.
