Spencer Ware / Charcandrick West

Recommended Posts

This guy came in and looked fantastic today. 11/96/2.

The Chark may or may not be sidelined for a while with a hammy, while Kniles wasn't even active. De'Anthony Thomas was also knocked outta the game with a concussion.

I know very little about Ware. Played at LSU and drafted by Seattle (like every other RB in the league seemingly). Fools gold? Anyone have any insight? Does he get the lions-share if the Chark is out, or does Kniles come in a do what he always does in relief? Has he earned some carries even if the Chark plays?

This season is unprecedented as far as RB's are concerned. I can hardly keep up.

Here is some information and film on Ware:

West is listed as day to day

He should not miss more than a week

KC had game in hand by then

Don't forget, San diegos rushing defense was one of the worst, if not the worst in the NFL so temper your enthusiasm a wee bit.

True, still a nice pick up this week over Allen IMO. Hammy can linger...and while Alex Smith is no world beater...Ware does not have Mr.Pick 6 under center.

Well, not when West was in the game: 11 rushes, 16 yards, sheesh!

True, and a very good point. I have no rebuttal for that except maybe West didn't sleep well that night. Lol

I think this guy could be a GEM. If West is hurt I like this kid a ton. Rawls is the best back and should be the #1 waiver but this kid has higher upside the Buck because the offense Buck is playing in. I own Buck and will hold him because he's the clear cut starter but if I knew Ware was the guy I'd take him for sure. They have not said much about West.

They said west could have gone back in the forth, but there was no need...

I NEEDED HIM BACK IN THE GAME! Lost by 2 points. Luckily I grabbed Ware off of waivers before the game.

Seems like a situation to avoid.... If West plays, will they reduce his workload? Even if West sits, will they just hand the reigns over to Ware or give Knile another shot and go with the hot hand and/or split the load?

I read Ware has definately passed Davis in the depth chart.

Reid is bringing in Joseph Randle to replace Knile.

Gotta believe that Ware gets a chance to prove himself after last week's display

from terez on twitter yesterday "reid says there is a chance Charcandrick West will be ready to go against Buffalo. If not, he has confidence in Spencer Ware & Knile Davis."

From @TerezPaylor: "Charcandrick West is getting better, Reid said. He did not practice, though. Travis Kelce tweaked his ankle today."

Yes, he is one of the ones who thinks there is hope he can play, as I mentioned.

Read further down.

Doug Moore is putting his reputation on the line and saying a source has him as OUT.

if West us out, where do you rank Ware?

I don't much about him. what are his strengths and weaknesses?

PPR guy or strictly running plays?

I'm really tempted to play Ware over Rawls if West ends up sitting.

No way since the game is in Seatttle. Rawls can also catch passes if they are behind.

I doubt Ware was still sitting on any league's waiver wire, but if so and in a faab league that only runs waivers Weds and Fri nights, he needed to be picked up last night at the latest to be played Sunday.

Got him in two leagues. I'd need to start him over Doug Martin, Cooks, or AJ Green in one; Martin or Latavius in the other. Both PPR. Not sure I'm ready to do that just yet, especially vs. the Bills.

Ware is no west

People said West is no Jamaal. West proved he's a pure #1. Why can't Ware.
