Yes. I worked with one as a grocery stocker in high school. He would make this loud buzzing sound and slap his knees every few minutes. You get used to it after an hour or two.

Yup. It was wild. The guy was a sergeant. He would lick his collarbrass on his shirt collar, obsessively count his fingers and blow on the them, constantly blink. At the end of a tour there would be a big wet spot on his collar from him licking it. He would do all of these things while you were having a conversation with him. All of them. He was oblivious, and it was ok once you grew accustomed to it. But the funny part was when some a-hole requested a supervisor. We were more than happy to oblige when Blinky was on patrol. Hillarious watching some trying to converse with this spaz. They ended up putting him inside.
