epinindy 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Can you guys give me some arguments as to who is the best #1 pick and why. I traded up to number one as I wanted one of the top 3 and have been leaning toward Alexander, but I have watched many mocks in which LJ and LT have went in front of him. manola 0 Posted August 7, 2006 I'd personally take LJ #1. I think he can put up incredible numbers this year, based off of what he did last year. He may suffer a little due to the coaching loss and the loss of Roaf, but I still think he can be huge. Also, I know you can't predict injuries and I don't wish them on anyone, but I think LT and SA may be a little more likely do get injured just because of all the extra wear they've had over the years. A younger guy seems less likely to get injured. Of course, this is just trying to predict the unpredictable so take it for what it's worth. gator-raiders 0 Posted August 8, 2006 If you are not a keeper league, then I would go with Alexander. He is a TD machine. If you were a keeper league, I would go with LJ. I think you cannot go wrong with either. And I would rate them almost equal and ahead of LT. Please take the time to post your opinion on my full keeper / dynasty draft question topic. Thanks. enoto 0 Posted August 8, 2006 I don't think Rivers is THAT big of a factor, He still has GAtes for def.'s to cover and LT is so versitile...he runs, catches AND throws to keep def.'s a little more honest at least.
