WKTSWAY 0 Posted June 14, 2006 I will need to cut my roster from 27 to 23 before my leagues rookie draft. I see the upside in all of the players I have (that's why I picked them), so it is a very tough choice for me on who to get rid of. My roster as of now is in my sig (it's a ppr league btw). I am going to drop Bubba Franks and Shaud Williams for sure. I wouldn't be too sad if I had to get rid of McPhearson, because I don't know if he will ever amount to anything as a QB anyway even if he did get a chance. I don't really want to get rid of any of my WR's since they are my weak point and one of them could emerge as a consistant player this year. DJ Hackett is probably 2 years away, but I really like him. My top RB's are pretty strong I think, and I have some back up players who could do alright if the starter goes down. Will Griffin be the #2 in KC??? So that would have me dropping: Shaud Williams Bubba Franks McPhearson and ????? Let me know who you think I should drop. Thanks a lot! I will help you out as well. Slusy 0 Posted June 14, 2006 What about Pinkston? He's been a disappointment every year, he's slipping down the depth chart in Philly, and he's coming off an injury that kept him off the field last year. I know you don't want to get rid of any WRs, but I doubt you'd miss him, right? He hasn't broken out in the four years that he's gotten to start, and three of those years were pre-T.O. I dont see why he'd start now...

All of those subtle changes to me are indicators of a up tick year for Bubba Franks, especially in TD leagues.

When it comes down to it though, I may not have another choice. with all the dead weight you are caring at WR I am surprised to see you so dead set on dropping Franks who is due a better year. my suggestion to you woudl be consider the new philopshy in GB, the loss of Fisher as the 3rd down pass catcher, and the loss of Walker who had taken over the red zone threat job. Bubba is the odd man out.
