One of the characters called Starfire (who is supposed to be a tan white girl looking alien princess) is now a black Street walker with a wig that looks like she got it on sale at Juanishas beauty salon. Whole thing looks like a dumpster fire and will fail HARD

1. She is orange in the comics. Definitely not light orange or tan.

2. She is white in Teen titans go. I just had some nephews visit and this is the only show they wanted to watch. Pretty decent as far as modern cartoons go.

3. This decision probably has nothing to do with the PC movement. They probably noticed how black panther did and wanted to get in on the gravy train.

4. They probably would have been better off going with an Asian or latina. The skin tone would have better matched and an asian especially would have helped with this movies money making potential in China.

If I am forced to watch a kids TV shows I would rather watch Teen Titans Go over what I currently watch: Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Just an FYI, teen titans go is NOT teen titans. Its stupid. The old teen titans in the early 2000s is excellent and is a more serious crime fighting show

I think they both were cartoon Network cartoons that involved the same characters.

 

The original may have been aimed at 10-14 year olds where the current one is aimed at 5-10 year olds.
