    I'm TE lost...please help

I'd agree that TEs may not be the reason you're 1-3, but Bennett is a top-tier TE and should get better with Brady coming back. Allen is a dud, I have him and picked up Brate, if Ertz is available get him, but look at Brate, Walford, James if any of them are available.

    gio and cobb

I have both Cobb and Gio and right now Gio is the better player, but you have a lot of depth at RB as the post above says, that you should do it and hope Cobb breaks out.

WTF is the deal with the Raiders and L. Murry?

Their best player on offense at least is Cooper.

Antonio and ivory for Gurley and cooper

Until the Rams improve their QB play, defenses are going to sell out to stop Gurley. He may have some good games here and there but four more games in the division, then Carolina, NE are not going to be fun. I wouldn't do it.

    Preseason Week 3 Discussion

Went to the Niners GB game and not sure there's anyone to draft on the Niners offense except Hyde maybe late and Dawson the kicker (very consistent btw). GB took their first string offense out after they scored their first TD, and Lacy and Cobb looked good against the Niners first team defense (Bowman was out). I know people are saying McCoy had a great year under Kelly, but there's a big difference between games vs Dall/NYG/Wash and Sea/StL/Ari. Also the Niners first team offense did nothing against Denvers first team defense in last weeks game.

Big Boards from Doug Orth - Version 1.0

Looks like QBs have the highest FP/G in the rankings and almost without a doubt 3 or 4 of them will finish in the top-12. Is the reason they're ranked lower because the difference between the top and the tenth best is small or that they're risk picks? In our league with similar scoring, Newton finished #1, considerably ahead of Brown. OBJ finished 17th I think.
  8. He's at a point where if he doesn't get TDs, he's useless. So in a ppr league there are going to be a lot of better options. Bengals have too many weapons, if he's not effective, they'll just keep him in for 3rd and shorts, until the get to the red zone when Gio will take over.

    Pierre Thomas to SF

No, avoid any SF players untill you see how they look this week. All the comments here were exactly the same for picking up and playing Reggie Bush and look what happened.

Kap - Does anyone think he's good?

Gabbert is officially starting this Sunday vs Falcons.

    Reggie Bush

Well it doesn't matter everyone did better than Bush, as you correctly predicted. I still don't understand the fascination with Niner RBs in that division, where the opponents DL will be living in the Niners backfield all day. At least they've played three of the games.

Anybody have a married couple in their league?

We had a father son and two brothers and no issue at all, we may even have had a married couple a few times. No issues at all as the commish is above board, if you don't trust the commish to run a fair league, you should consider dropping it as someone noted above.
  13. I live in the bay area but am not a Raider homer, I'd say avoid any of the Raiders on draft day except maybe James Jones. I think MJD and DMac are going like really late so if you can get them in the 11'th or 12th round, it may be worth a gamble. The defense may get better so you could pick them in FA when they're not playing the Broncos. :-)

    Lynch and Jackson vs Browns

I have to decide between Washington and Jackson as well, however in your case I might lean to Berrian, should have a good game vs. the Rams. I think Jackson is going to actually have the better game over Lynch, I think he'll get most of the early touches with Lynch coming in after a first couple of series. In a ppr league, Jackson is I think the clear choice over Lynch.

    TOP 5 next year?

For the second year in a row in our league (ppr, yardage) QBs were like 7 of the top 10, last year I thought it was just one year aberration but now two years in a row and RBs are just not putting up the numbers they used to, I think for the following reasons: - a lot of them are not on the field for 3'rd downs - they're not as good pass catchers as they used to be - too many RBs by committee - for some reason, they're getting hurt more Also more WRs than RBs in our top-25. The thing though with QBs is that you can probably get a real good one in the third round and still go WR/RB in rds 1-2. This year for instance one team had both Brees and Cutler and another had Delhomme and Warner so you have to figure those guys will not be on the same team again and available in the mid rounds. (Brees probably goes before round 3).
