When a qb can't throw the ball, you expect a RB to do all the work? Defenses stopped their running game because they knew the qb was bad. What about what Michael did when he went back to Seattle in December? Oline isn't all there needs to be for a RB to be successful. QB play is also important. Seattle is also talking about a RBBC and that makes Rawls a risk.

Henry was drafted because the titans running game was atrocious in recent memory. They are going smashmouth and if Murray were to get hurt they will need Henry. Henry can be drafted to sit on the bench. A OC anonymously said that you need two RBs to win now and did not say a committee either, said that you need two because of injuries. I'm assuming it was the titans OC that said it. Also, Henry will likely get involved as a change of pace back when Murray is having a tough game. However, Henry could get something like Jonathan Stewart in 08/09 or Lendale White(of the same team here) in 08 while DWill and CJ0K were the lead backs on run heavy teams.

Yeah exactly.

This is definitely one of those season where I am confused on what to do. I have done a lot of mocks and the RBs thin out in some cases after five rounds. People are waking up to what Jennings did late last year and he's beginning to get taken 5-6 rounds, Rawls is getting taken 3-4 round again with news of him playing week 1. The one back that nobody knows what will happen with is D Murray. And even Foster is going higher than he should. So waiting on RB is risky and playing matchups is not that easy with number 2 backs. We don't know who will start in Baltimore and who will take over if Allen is starter and fails. There are actually sleeper WRs late with Benjamin, Dorsett, M Thomas, Smith. Also, Parker;s going mid rounds, and the trifecta of Brown, Fitz, and Floyd from the cards are available as early as 4 and as late as 6. Someone on FA each year emerges in receiving it's been a easier position to not go heavy on. As for RB it depends on if last year repeats itself.

Week 14 last year.

If the past taught us anything, how often does a fallen stud bounce back? This is another one of those examples. Charles is in the same position but Lacy does not have the backup complications the former has. Lacy could make up for drafting Bell round 1. You get Bell and Lacy as your top backs, then two receivers followed by DWill and maybe RB or WR3. Unless you want a QB before a WR 3(or 2).
-
I believe he can bounce back, but I am looking at Lacy more. The thing is those handcuffs are good but late last year they started doing a RBBC so yeah you draft JC you have to draft both West and Ware. If I do that, I'd have to put more focus on receivers early and go RB first two rounds.
-
DWill is on a team that will actually give him the touches he needs. Carolina did not do that and already had "two" RBs. That said I may take Bell late first, it would be hard to pass him up because of what we could bring after he returns. There are not many backs you can rely on in the first round as your RB 1. Only AP and Gurley from what I see. We don't know with Elliot.
-
I had actually tried this approach this year and its yet to be determined how I will do. I was not able to draft a first round RB and am holding out on chance/opportunity with my picks. QB-Rodgers RB-Ingram, Gore, Gurley, Spiller, Abdullah WR-Andre, DeSean, Garcon, Parker, Agholor TE-Eiffert DST-Bills K-Tucker I had drafted Taliaferro but then dropped him for KC to play week 1 over bills.

Stills was a product of Brees and a inconsistent one at that which is why he was traded. He does not have the tools to produce as a no.1 WR. Also, Tannehill is getting a bit overration imo and giving more than one big target to work with is not exactly smart. A lot of qbs do not know how to spread the ball around. And Cameron is oc dependent. He needs to have the right OC like he did in 2013 with Norv and that other guy as well as a qb who will listen to protocol. Weeden, Campbell were not TE friendly QBs and did not listen to that.

No RB is going to light it up with limited carries. Unless Jacksonville makes Yeldon the true starting back, he won't be effective.
-
The media has now attacked us. Yet we improved LB, #2CB, Center, right guard with a younger player than Grubbs, and RB. And in the draft we will be working on more pass rush and ntm Byrd will get to participate in drills this offseason and be more ready that last. All because we have no "weapons" we're automatically gonna suck. I mean it literally is laughable. How old was Bret Favre when he took the packers and vikings to NFC title games each in a three year span?
-
Well thats it 1 and done. Sucks.
-
He was on the field the drive before last. Not sure what's going on with him.

I don't need any more Brady pass TDs. Please run them in. Doesn't look like Mathews will get 20.
