Not a homer but have always had a soft spot for Floyd. Keenan Allen has barely been looked at and Floyd looks athletic, healthy and sharp. And not gassy like Donald Brown, who is wearing a diaper.

Arians is a good coach so it's not like there is no offensive system or anything. If Arians can't get anything out of Fitz it means he is finished. I would otherwise say just trade him to the Pats, but I doubt BB even wants him.

Was at the game tonight... Here are some random observations:

 

1. We drove up from Tucson (about a 2 HR drive that took 3), the flooding was that bad. Cars on the I-10 were literally under water in the AM. It did clear out by the afternoon, as I hope there were no injuries/casualties.

 

2. Only a couple thousand missing from another sell out crowd. I don't know how it sounded on TV, but the crowd was loud help causing 2 false starts, 2 Time outs, and the bad snap in the 4th that took SD outta FG range.

 

3. SD was in Cover 2 most of the night, with a ton of single coverage on Fitz. No idea why he did not receive more looks before the 4th. Floyd is a #1 now folks. S Taylor, and J Brown were very impressive in limited action.

 

4. M Teo is fast, but appears to be out of place a lot of the time.

 

5. Rivers is huge in person.. While Woodhead actually even looks smaller in person.

 

6. Although just about a 6hr drive away, was impressed to see so many SD fans at the game. I would say the split was about 75/25 Red Sea. This also means that there was a ton of beautiful women in very little clothing tonight which is always a good thing.

 

The first Half had it's dull moments, but this was my first NFL game in the desert and I had a blast! Looking forward to my next game vs WAS in Oct.

I needed 5 points between Cruz and Fitz. I got it...just barely. Actually less than 5 points, like 4.5. The most pathetic total I've ever needed and the longest I've had to wait for it.

I'm not sure I communicated how much Phoenix was a series of rivers and lakes today.

 

Also, people in Philadelphia have nothing to live for, so they may as well drive their car into a torrential wash.

Sports in the NE is just a different beast.
