RedzoneMonster 102 Posted November 10, 2018 Im sure some of you have looked and have seen BAL has a ridiculously easy schedule vs the pass for the remainder of the fantasy season. Im trying to buy J. Brown everywhere I can right now. Now I read Flacco may be out. Honestly not sure if this is good or bad news for Brown? I figure Jackson couldnt hurt Browns numbers worse than Flacco was recently, right? Im also thinking of picking up Jackson. Im 4-5 and need a Hail Mary play at this point. Jackson with that schedule fits that bill I guess. Thoughts?
rrmcguire 36 Posted November 10, 2018 Have Ryan in one league and Big Ben in another Jackson worth pickup?
jgcrawfish 232 Posted November 10, 2018 Jackson will have a great floor if only because of his running ability. But the Ravens haven't been clicking in a few weeks and are about 1 more loss from a complete collapse, including a possible coaching change. I'm staying away. The Steelers showed how to beat them, and I think the fear of them has faded. Defense isn't playing well and offense is just bad.
weepaws 2,452 Posted November 10, 2018 I don’t see how Jackson would make Brown better.
stonewall 647 Posted November 10, 2018 I don’t see how Jackson would make Brown better. Easy....because he couldn't possibly be worse than the last couple of weeks......

weepaws 2,452 Posted November 10, 2018 Easy....because he couldn't possibly be worse than the last couple of weeks......Actually he could be. We dont know yet. So why do you think he will? I dont see him being a better in the passing game. Sure he can run, but qbs dont last long just running the ball. Lets see him pass the ball about 35 plus times in a game. I dont think he will improve the passing game, in which he wont help Brown. Thanks for the reply, I guess we shall see.
weepaws 2,452 Posted November 10, 2018 This What makes you think he will improve the Ravens passing game? Not a judgement, just trying to see your view of the situation. Thanks.
BobSanders_33 127 Posted November 10, 2018 I don't know that Jackson takes over. On one hand if they don't think he is ready then they won't want to damage his confidence. On the other hand of they want to get him reps and build his confidence for next season he has the perfect schedule. For the passing game I think it helps Crabtree and the TEs the most. Players that are good against zone coverage. A running QB like Jackson will force opposing teams to be in zone. I also thought TyMont might be useful with Flacco. Running QBs don't check down as much so that might be the case. Collins might now see wider running lanes.

I dont think he will improve the passing game, in which he wont help Brown. Brown went for 28 and 15 yards the last two games he played with Flacco. Again, my assertion is simply that it could not possibly get any worse than that for Brown with Jackson under center, unless you are expecting Brown to start getting goose eggs on the stat sheet. weepaws 2,452 Posted November 11, 2018 Wait a second I thought two games dont make a season. So throw out those four games that brown scored 10 plus points in a non ppr league. Ok I see. Mmm darn wrong again. How about those other games with Flacco at Qb, oops Im sorry where not counting those now. Hey I hope no feelings where hurt during the posting of this post. I dont see him helping Brown.
jrokh 567 Posted November 11, 2018 It might even be RGIII before Jackson if Baltimore still thinks they want to go for it. I don't think LJ is ready yet to be a full time starter

They don't make a season...but they sure can break one. Mmm darn wrong again. -?? Are you talking to yourself?? How about those other games with Flacco at Qb, oops Im sorry where not counting those now. -Seriously? FF is ALL about "what have you done for me lately". Hey I hope no feelings where hurt during the posting of this post. -When did you morph into a smart alec? Not a good look, buddy. I dont see him helping Brown. -Got it...believe me. But, again, my only assertion was that it can't be any worse than lately....which is what matters....risers and fallers.- "If my people, who are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face; then shall I hear from Heaven, and shall forgive their sin, and shall heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:

You do realize, of course, that the sig is a quote from a former bored member name Cuda? And that it is highlighting his humorous lack of humility in this pursuit that involves so much luck? Just an accurate look at you, bud. Have a great day...Lol?
