cousinal111 57 Posted August 12, 2018 Be gentle, 10 team, full PPR, start 2 flex QB- Cousins, Dak RB- Zeke, Rex, Tevin, Carson, Buck Allen WR- Keenan, Adams, Tate, Marvin, Kupp, Edelman TE- Burton, Kittle Vikings D K- Lulz Probably try to trade a DET WR for RB help. I plan on going 5 wide with 2 RB all year. Other than glaring need for RB help, any thoughts?
Daltnator 19 Posted August 12, 2018 I think you're really good once addressing the RB depth! What's your thoughts on those QBs? Are you planning on rid No one predominately all season or just keep swiping depending on Matchup? Also, what's you confidence level in Dak? I'm a Cowboys fan and it's so hard not to get caught up I the preseason/training camp hype! It's looking like, with the always permenant caveat of barring injuries, the Dallas receiving corp may suprise a bit, thus having Dak surprise a bit. Is that what your expecting or is your Dak selection just a back up to Cousins? Lol! Anyway, good luck this season and that team should be a PPR monster this yea!!!
cousinal111 57 Posted August 12, 2018 Thanks for the response. My plan was to get Zeke & then do a zero RB type strategy. I like Dak this year. Keep in mind he was the QB1 last year I believe before Zeke got suspended. We have a deep roster so carrying 2 QB's was my plan unless one of the top tier QB's slid. As far as RB, I really think Rex has RB2 potential if he's healthy. Brady & Belichick trust him & Sony is already dealing with a knee problem & has fumble issues in his past. Here's to Zeke, Dak, and the Boys leading the NFL in scoring!
scottsind 61 Posted August 12, 2018 I dig your roster. Tate is probably more valuable in a PPR league rather than Marvin Jones so you could get a good return on trading either one. I am in a TD heavy league and Marvin Jones is definitely on my radar. Your roster is deep everywhere else besides that RB position and you know that so go get a serviceable RB3 for your squad. Tevin may be able to hold that position as a back up RB in a good offense and if Freeman has concussion problems he is a no doubt starter for the squad. You may even be able to trade a combo of a WR/QB to a team in need for a real quality RB. Good luck!
cousinal111 57 Posted August 12, 2018 One team opened with 4 RB (Hunt, Cook, Mixon, Howard) & his #1 WR is Crabtree. Wonder if offering Marvin & a 2019 pick could be a starting point for either Mixon or Howard.

And I agree with Scott in ppr Tate might be worth more value in ppr , and M Jones might get higher return in a move for a rb. Hey good luck this season with this team.

I plan on going 5 wide with 2 RB all year. Other than glaring need for RB help, any thoughts? This isn't completely terrible though, Zeke can carry a team. You appear to have a top DST and a top 5 RB stud. Your WR depth is good. QB's are passable, it really depends if Cousins can fit into his new team's system and if Dak can step up and show progress or regresses more. I agree your RB2 spot could use some help. For a 12 team league, I'd be like that's a good team. For a 10 teamer, well...I kind of wonder how the others made out because yea that looks a little thin but you guys appear to have pretty big benches (17 by my count).

cousinal111 57 Posted August 15, 2018 i agree with the others.. someone will become a valuable rb.. a free agent.. over all - u did well I own Chris Carson so I may have caught a break. I picked up Lat Murray & Breida after they cleared waivers. Now my "near zero RB" backfield is Zeke, Rex, Tevin Coleman, Buck Allen, Carson, Murray, and Breida. If only I had a crystal ball about Tate & Marvin, I could probably package one of them with Carson to Penny Owner for a solid return. Going to play the waiting game for now & hope Rex Burkhead comes out of the gates doing a little of everything.
jctds 4 Posted August 17, 2018 Am I the only one seeing a hole in the TE spot? I don't like either of those for a PPR. Burton is getting all this praise as being a not so tired sleeper this year but do we really trust Mitch? I don't.... Kittle flashed last year but he is at best a streamer. Your RB situation is actually solid now with those two additions. You can now also shop Breida to the McKinnon owner AND Murray to the Lynch owner as other options. I'd keep Carson as of this moment.

Yeah, TE has me concerned but hopefully one will emerge as a Top 10. Murray is the backup in Minnesota & I'm probably going to hold him. Cook is a great talent but he has a lot of injuries in his past and is coming off major surgery. The Vikes offense should be one of the best in the NFL. jctds 4 Posted August 20, 2018 I was thinking Martin for some reason, not Murray. Sounds like you've figured this one out. Best of luck!
